I saw another post about someone else account that was purchased from runemetrix being hacked back at the same time as mine did. what're my options here?

 

yeah I reported it. I didn't think he would of done that but then i got on sythe and first post i see was the same situation i'm in.

 

There's been a million reports about him recently. Looks like he's done the ole' scam quit like a cunt.

He's recovered an account he sold me too, I shall hop on the wagon and post one myself.

 

bro its sucks ass. i bought a 70 skiller off him and i turn the accounts into a 1850 total main this year. shits wack. fucking 1b bank and jagex response was "make a new account"

 

sorry to hear man, the sad reality of purchasing accounts from random people. there's still those low life pieces of shit wherever you go in the world. its actually amazing he didn't even get a ban on the forum only got a "DO NOT TRADE" rank. I guess when you're a donator you get to by pass the 3 month ban for scamming as it states in the rules =/ (should be multiple 3 month bans seeing as he scammed multiple times)

Yeah, I don't understand that DNT he's got. Guy had LOADS of reports come in against him. I think I saw a staff member saying they're consolidating the reports and giving him some time due to IRL issues, yet accounts sold by him are still being recovered.

I saw a disc screenshot of him saying he's tying up loose ends and then leaving the market. Except his version of 'leaving the market' is scam quitting and playing the Sythe staff like a fucking fiddle.

I thankfully pre-empted his recovery of my account when I saw all the reports come in against him. Checked my emails and had a genuine password reset request off Jagex so I cleared the account in anticipation of losing it. I've just now checked again and it's recovered.

 

same i had two password reset emails but by the time i saw them it was to late.

Not sure if the staff sent out trade warning but they definitely should have after all those reports came in like 2 weeks ago.

The scam quit is so obvious it’s painful. Especially when he was talking about leaving the market prior to it.

He came back and sorted a few of his reports out and was then allowed to carry on. He should of been fucked off there and then.

 

That would take effort from them.....
I am curious as to why @RuneMetrix only has a DO NOT TRADE rank and not banned for 3 months + the rank like EVERY OTHER SCAMMER.

Is he above the rules since hes a donator? or that he knows mods / admins? or does he have some sort of disease that allows people to scam quit and not be banned? All we have to go off is a post by @Zora (RuneMetrix) in one of the MANY reports against him for being a scamming piece of shit. I would just like to know some clarity on how to get special benefits on this forum. (seeing as gladiator was just bent over with a ban but runematrix just gets a title rank)

 

Guy has another 3 reports against him. He's legit STEALING 1000's of $ worth of stuff while everyone is sat watching with their popcorn out. I appreciate there's not much Sythe staff can do if someone decides they're scam quitting, but the inaction is equally bad.

Like look at the fucking state of this thread. The writing is on the wall plain as day. He should of got fucked off and a trade alert made just off that thread.

Then you have @owned in the Sythe discord saying he has zero ill intention and he's going through a lot. Do you have an explanation as to why his accounts are still being recovered, @owned?

So that's what Zora said here. Did you ever receive this information @Zora? I wonder if he has a legitimate reason for all of his accounts still being recovered during this legitimate absence of his?
