Pricecheck-thread

Hello sythe, I have seen that the "Pricecheck" thread doesn't really work, because alot of people just post their accounts and doesn't tell other people what their accounts is worth.

I think that you should open a whole sub-forum for Pricechecks, on all different things. Not only on Runescape stuff. You could post threads about WoW, IRL stuff's and, ofcourse, Runescape.

The title of the threads would be something like this:

[PC][Type of thing][Other Info]

I tried to post my accounts there (In the pricecheck-thread) many times, but I never get an answer on what it would be worth.

I have seen many people posting accounts wanting pricechecks in "Runescape General", and I understand them. Their threads just gets locked, but I understand why they do it - because they get no help in the Pricecheck thread.

There should be better rules on this, or maybe a sub-forum could be created? This would help alot of people, and also be very funny, since there is many people who like to see others runescape accounts.

There's already a price check sticky in the RS Pictures & Videos section, and a few other stickies in the account buying/selling sub-forums. And we are not obliged to guess the price of your account.

 

Well, you post there because you want a pricecheck and what I say is you almost never get one. That needs to be fixed, because why would you have a pricecheck thread if nobody gives you a price? I understand what you mean, and I know that there is topics.

How to pricecheck your own account :
How much mils ? : 2-3$/mil
then if the skills are high , think about the price like 70$ or more

I actually like this idea. Although it should belong in the suggestions thread.

Making a section with the name 'Price Checks' would be good, rather than posting a ton of pictures on one stickied thread and not get any responses.

You could have mini sub-sections involving Runescape, real-life items, and maybe more sections.

I've already checked out the price check thread, it's just a mass of spammed posts of pictures.

Also, 2-3$ a mil is outrageous, it's usually 75 cents to 2 dollars MAX, the more you have the less it's worth. (responding to that other guy)

Very funny. People charge $1 per million when they're goldfarming and about $3 when they transfer the gold. Since goldfarming is slower, you are charged less because of the amount of time it takes.

I'm not actually fond of this idea. As Jara said, each million = $3. Then depending on your skill levels, make a guess about how much it'll be worth. If you have some high levels in a hard skill, then it'll be worth quite a lot. If your account is a pure, it'll have more value than a main. 1 Defence pures have the most value.

 

Nothing is better than hearing what other people say. The pricecheck thread doesnt work as it should, im not trying to learn to pricecheck my own account.

 

Tell me something. If the other threads don't work well, what makes you think this will?

 

I think that this will work better because if you have threads, people who really wants to post a price (This kind of people actually exist), will go on the thread and do it. The thread will not get spammed with pictures of other accounts. Thats why I think it will work BETTER.
