RWT Warning (buyer)

Was stress testing their system. Got a warning after two RWT buys. Bought 100-500m both times. Most likely seller got caught and dished out warnings to anyone involved.

They took away my gold. However left the items that i purchased from the RWT'd gold.

Giving you guys a heads up, if you decide to rwt, buy some items with the gold and leave it in the bank for a while.. that way if you get caught they won't smite your gold, cheers.

Yeah. Also, i typically rwt during early morning hours in the UK when people are sleeping and have never been caught but this time i didn't.

Yes and no. It's much better, however a lot worse in the sense of innocent players falsely being flagged by their system. If a person with RWT warning/account flagged interacts with an innocent player, that innocent player will possibly receive a warning or temp ban.

An example would be if a friend with RWT warning lent you bandos to PVM or gear to PK, you'll most likely receive a temp ban or warning.

Or you decide to do a group PVM boss or raids and split the loot. If anyone in that group is flagged for rwt, you have the possibility of receiving a warning as well just by trading them. The detection system is very flawed.



I've seen someone deliberately revenge ban a maxed out account by giving him 250m for free as a level 10 account that was flagged for RWT already. That maxed account ended up getting a temp ban.

Ironmen are even getting hit with crossfire.

thanksthanks. I've heard from one person I know that even gold buyers get rwt banned a lot now. whereas back then it was mostly sellers(at least from what I've heard). How true is this?
