I'm 100% sure i put an offer in For a red partyhat in g.e yesterday when it updated and nothing is coming in, i thought party hats are sold in g.e daily?

Are they sold in g.e at all?

There is 5 more days till it goes up again which means i have 5 more days to Snipe one, but i am thinking about taking the offer out?

What Should i do?

 

If you want the red parthhat, and have the money to buy one while working on other stuff, then keep the offer in there.

I was buying 10 crowns for about a month and finally they got sold to me. Just wait and you will get it.

If you need the money for skilling, then take it out.

 

I dont need the money now but it'd be nice to have it and IF anyone has sniped a partyhat out of g.e please post a screeny im loosing confidence.

 

People will snipe them, dw about that. Just be patient.

Partyhats are about 1B+ Street Price, you must be lucky you even grab one through the GE. Grab a GE Sniper and try your luck.

 

No, partyhats aren't sold in ge daily anymore. Actually, if one was even sold in that update when prices changed then ur lucky.

So many people camp ge nowadays so you not only have to camp it perfectly on the RS tick when prices change, you also have to hope that you're lucky and that the partyhat you camped was sold in ge that update. Also, you must have had ur offer put in less than 1 second after it updates, basically u have to see the price change while clicking max offer price constantly, otherwise you don't have a chance in getting one.

I've camped a few times for partyhats but unluckily none was sold in that update. Probably cause it was for a blue one lol. But yea, you should wait and keep that offer in until the price changes again cause you might get lucky and actually get one.

 

I really don't know where you are getting your info from..
A GE price can't change until a set number of items are sold.

On topic/
There are tools to know when ge updates. I'm sure if you did some looking around you could find one. Things such as "website watchers." It'll let you know when site updates. Just link it to the rs item page on GE and it'll let you know when price changes.

I've sniped a variety of things varying from D-claws, Dagon Hai, Elite, and Crowns when they first came out. Everything on GE is buy-able.

First of all, The update tools don't work because the runescape site takes a few mins to update after g.e does, it's not instantly, i put my offer in because i was clicking back and forth between max and min in g.e and it updated.

Btw: still no luck

 

I believe you have to put it in immediately after the G.E. updates..immediately = 1-10 seconds I believe.

What about eggs? Dozens of eggs are sold in GE on a daily basis now... Hell, I know a few people who's main income atm is egg flipping.
Yet, eggs still rise as rarely as they were before... if not rarer.

Hence, the number of eggs being sold is not at all affecting the rate of updates.

I don't think phats are sold in the GE.
Everyone who owns a phat knows that their hat is worth several billion, and will not be giving up those billions out of sheer ignorance.

The days of phat sniping are over, I believe (unless an acc is hacked or something). Stick to smaller, more readily obtainable rares like crowns or current clan merch items.
