They aren't necessarily "assigned," but they volunteer to do it if they have the time.

 

My sincere apologies mate I didn't see your suggestion. I posted something related to this idea on the first page and after that, Nate suggests the same thing. Hahanerd follows suit. So I agree with this.

Perhaps make a suggestion thread?

On topic: Well it appears you didn't PM all the verifiers, as Alteranz didn't get a PM. Could you take a picture of the PMs you DID send to the other official verifiers?

 

I just made a suggestions thread; waiting on it to get approved by a moderator.

 

I'm a pretty large runefag myself, and can assist however I can as I have alot of time during the summer.

 

Lol, understood, but first off, the suggestion has to get approved, and second of all, the verifiers need to be hand picked my mods, not me, lol.

By PMing a mod thats not on that list they have every right to infract you for ignoring the stickies, thus be thankfull they didn't infract you.

Im gonna be honest here: Most guides that are sent to me suck.

 

I don't support giving more power to OMM's.

 

Same with me. Horrible layout and bad explanations.

I may sound like a dick here, but I've considered taking payment for verifying guides. I mean, OMM's are getting paid, and the guide sellers do get a hell of a profit from this.

 

We should really raise the bar on guide sales.. If the members want action concerning guides, then give it to them with strict restrictions and a process to insure the members making profits off them are legit/honest/meet a standard. Lastly, yes.. there should be a fee to the moderator who must verify/register.

 

I'd support a fee to the verifying mod also. They take up there time so they deserve a few bucks.

That'll sort out all the legit guide sellers.

 

Appoint new Mods, specifically for the Guide Section, Give them a new emblem thing, With a picture of books on the outside.

 

Or just a "guide verifying" team.

 

LMAO, this thread was about mods being too lazy to verify guides. Now it's about getting paid to verify them.. LOL'd
