Explanation of the trade: Paid $45 (basically the cost of a FULL thread - for just some edits/additions to an existing one)
How they scammed: Not really scammed. Just incredibly hard to work with at times and made me feel bad for asking for design changes. Did not fix part of his work that is objectively poor - and is trying to take me for $30 more to align text properly.

I just want to preface by saying Dzeny has done great work for me multiple times, and there is a reason I go back to him over and over for designs.

Every other time has been smooth, beyond him consistently finishing products a few days after the stated completion time.

This time was not smooth however.

I requested that my initial AHK thread receive a few edits to account for the fact that my server had a new PKing AHK product released within it.

I asked for the following:

1) Essentially add in a new sub-section with my RuneSwitch AHK information
2) Adjust the name of two title names
3) Make 1-2 small grammatical changes with commas and usage of exclamation points
4) Re-do the area that says "What's included" to show the updated offering of my skilling and PvM scripts in my server

That was the deal for $45.

Timeline of proceeding events:

1/10 - Payment taken
1/11 - Dzeny states it would be finished that day
1/12 - Got first draft

Final Draft 1 complete
- He did nothing with the list of scripts I gave him for the "whats included" area (which was the bulk of what I was asking him to change)

Asked him to complete this: Was told it would be fixed in 4-5 hours.

I call out the fact that this request is nothing more than cutting up the source file to add in a new spot, and update text and I am being charged full price for a NEW thread (which is fine because the prior quality was high)

He says "I would record you what I do and what is the complex part, but then you see program where I design , effects and can learn tricks". I am still skeptical at this. He says that aligning text is hard can take ~10 hours. Screenshot - 92089bddef84712a56fcc9a0a593df36 - Gyazo

I ask for a refund if its not completed soon (keep in mind this is 100% the ORIGINAL request I made to him DAYS ago). He graciously offers one and even offers a bit more for the time of mine he has wasted, however he states he is confident he can complete this finally in 24 hours. 1/14 - 28 hours after the mention of it finally being done he sends Final Draft 2.
Final Draft 2 complete
- He STILL did nothing with the list of scripts I gave him for the "whats included" area (which was the bulk of what I was asking him to change)
- I request for some more basic text changes for grammar mistakes and better/more accurate titles

1/15 - 12 hours after last message sent still no response

I call him out that writing and aligning ~25 text boxes is really not that challenging and ask multiple times for him to send a video of what it looks like on his end so I can help if possible. 1/16 - 22 hours from last message until I get a response and Final Draft 3 is complete
- I like I mentioned before, the thread overall is GREAT. Quality work. But the "Whats Included" is AWFUL and looks like it was completed by a completely different person than whoever did the rest of the thread design.

• While is this more like what I want there is still no rhyme or reason to how the script list is organized and honestly looks just kind of like a mess. The phrases that include "power" (like auto power woodcutting or auto power fishing) have different coloring (i.e. the "woodcutting is blue, while the "fishing, is white). The spacing in the first two lines is really narrow, while the spacing between liens 2 and 3 is larger.
• Just overall kind of sloppy attention to detail

1/17 - No response until 20 hours after this example was sent.

• I am told that my request was "totally different" than what I asked for before (it is not), and that he needs to RESTART. • Random spacing differentials between left and right script list, random words in blue, no great differentiation between which script is what (i.e. its not bulleted, some that have parentetical info are next to the main script name, while others are below it)
• This is where Dzeny tells me I need to purchase a new thread because he simply cannot align the text. He tells me "the edits you asked are harder to make than 3-4 threads." Take a look at that entire thread and ask yourself how the addition of a single (smaller) section, some wording changes, and title addition can be harder than making FOUR NEW THREADS FROM SCRATCH

• Text is WAYYY too small and there is a black box behind all the wording. Its more like how I asked but the scripts that have parenthetical information STILL are not the same format - some have the info BELOW, while others have the info NEXT to it

Look at how he points out the flaw in HIS OWN design and tell me that thats what I asked for. I drew up a mock-up using PowerPoint and Excel in 1-2 mins and he took the EXACT size ratio and made a replica and decided to not use an ounce of design knowedge to properly align or create the title size properly.

Notice how he throws out new prices to align words just to get more money and time out of me. Unreal.

I have had multiple people tell me it looks bad. And frankly it does. Compared to the rest of the thread that is fantastic this looks horrible and it appals me he wants $30 to add lines between the script titles so people can actually differentiate between the script names. I feel like I WAY overpaid for what I was asking for.

All I want is for this to be done, and to look like a completed product that had an ounce of work put into it. Right now it is a mess of text that has no differentiation between lines or script names. Even a bulleted list at this point would look better.

No terms of service were agreed to and I was quite clear about what I wanted, an updated list in the "whats offered" section that has distinguishable lines of text with each script name, and description if applicable. I did not get this.

Dzeny gave up on my order and will only make it right for x2 the original cost, which is wrong. I was not scammed but I think there is something really shady going on for sure.

I want to lastly reiterate that other than this section the thread is AMAZING - seriously 10/10, and so has everything else he has made me. I just do not understand why he is charging so much for a simple job that was included in the initial request. You can clearly see the effort here was not the effort from other parts of the thread. I apologize to Dzeny that I am making this public, but I really am only taking to Sythe because other's have noted the quality and Dzeny will not fix anything further without $30-$45 more from me.

How if i offered you instantly refund $55 instead of $45 when I saw that you are not happy with design?

(since I did for you approx 7-10 free edits and you kept changing it and changing since you don't know yourself what you want)

On that thread screenshot you forgot to mention that you wanted me to make design like this. (Why are you hiding it?)
Now you you criticize your own design???

My opinion: Snorlax just wants to get design source file so he can use it for personal use and do edits himself so he pays nothing.
He asked me so many times to give him source file so he can do edits or to login on my pc via "anydesk (same thing as teamviewer)" so he can finish it in "5 minutes" (and I who do designs for long time am not able to finish it in 5 minutes while he can lol)
I am pretty sure he forced me to make all these changes thinking I will get tiered and I will provide him design source file which I don't share and incase minor edits are needed I charge customers $2-3 for it. (depends what needs to be changed)
But in this case I told him I can do for $30 or so which would include 1-2 edits for free, since he constantly changes firstly whole text/text layout and keeps repeating the same constantly which is not minor edit.



I wouldn't be surprised even if he intended to insert some kind of key logger via anydesk, since he understands the field of programming and is prone to manipulation as this text proves, like his friend Chubs.

What exactly can I be accused of?

Because I firstly offered him $55 refund instead of $45?
Because I did 7 major edits for him freely? (which he didn't like, although he insisted that I make it according to his instructions later)

He should be allowed to copy paste this text from here only to my Vouch thread, since this is place for feedback.

 

This can be closed. A resolution was made via PM for Dzeny to complete what I paid for.

Sad to see this needed to be made public for something to be done, but so be it.

has 1.5k + friends and no one is able to send me friend request.

When you send someone friend request eventhough he has limit, discord says: "friend request is sent" discord should fix it tho and write: Account has limit on friends or something.

When imposter dms customers they know that friend request was sent and I guess they think the right person has accepted them.

To avoid a chance for a scam I have made new account and have posted it on sythe, eventhough
I didn't have to do this at all, this was done out of my good will, since on Sythe it is clearly visiable what is my
discord username/unique id (on signature + personal details)




If I didn't make new account, people would be sending me friend requests which are not seeable to me and it is only a matter of time when wil imposter dm them. Most of them will think that friend request was accepted by me.
