the staff team are f**king useless - wont verify my guides!!!

Im sick and tired of this SHIT.
i pmed most of the mods on the guide verification list....2 weeks ago!
they still havent replied!
the only 2 mods who replied said they dont verify guides and one had a bloody go at me and threatened to infract me!

im sick of this bullshit, the sythe staff team do nothing but lock and infract, and when a player needs HELP, they DONT do jack shit!

There a bunch of keyboard warriors who dont care bout the community.
Mods like SuF, this isnt aimed at you. you actually replied to my pms and were a polite person, so thankyou.

im swearing so much cuz im tired of being ignored, and i got $50+ dollars worth of buyers waiting for verification!^%#@!&23

 

Most mods on Sythe don't play RuneScape.

 

I no longer play Runescape, and have asked to be removed from the Mod Verification thread a while ago - so when people ask me to verify, I can't.

 

The mods aren't paid, and many have a lot on this time of year. And, as tgump said, most don't play runescape.

 

That is irrelevant. If they're on that list, they are supposed to be able to verify guides.
If they can't then they must get off the list.

How would you like it if I said "PM me if you've got any problems k?" to someone. When they PM me, I totally freak out and threaten to infract them? Is that acceptable?

You guys are on a list that says you verify. Why did you ask to be on that list if you don't verify? And when someone PMs you, asking to verify, you don't blow up at them, threatening infractions.

And when the poor guy tries to post his thread without verification, you lock it? I mean seriously!

 

The moderators that did get angry at him probably did so because they WEREN'T on the list... they have every right to be annoyed at him if that's the case =|

 

The list clearly hasn't been updated. Besides, the OP would get a better response if he wasn't swearing and flaming.

 

Mods should at least attempt to be nice.

The list needs to be updated then. With mods that CAN verify. How about adding several members to the list as well? So if a mod is unavailable, then another trusted member of the community can handle it.

 

True.... threatening to infract someone is a little OTT.
There's only 6 people on the OFFICIAL verification list, and take away me since I can't verify anymore, that makes 5 members.
He said he PM'd 12 moderators, so that makes me think he didn't even look at the thread at all to see who officially does verify...

Fair enough Jordan. Then let's put the question to the OP.

Did you check that thread before sending PMs?
Did you send it to any of the moderators on that thread?
Did you see the part "If you contact anyone else who is not here, they have the right to infract you for ignoring stickies"?

So basically, you deserved that mod threatening to infract you because it was most likely he wasn't on the sticky. And I bet you wrote very nasty PMs to each of them, which is why they refused to help you. You only have yourself to blame.

 

How about try not to PMS and find a moderator like Spyike who's always online and does everything you PM him if you ask nicely...

 

I do the best I can but I will be honest about raging members who PM me, PMing me with an attitude gets you one in return. Oh yes, I do lock your threads when I have 3-4 members claiming your guide is ripped/leaked and you have a total of 5-days with Sythe. Trust me, I only show up at Guides when a report has been filed. My simple request is to get it verfied. The other issue with guides are there are several members ripping from other sites and/or leaking guides that were purchased. Guide review/verification if done correctly is not as simple as some may think. Hate me or Luv me, I still get a great night's rest.

I'd have unequivocally infracted him if he'd approached me in the way he has done in this thread. I will meet respect and courtesy with respect and courtesy. When I receive rude requests that ignore the fact that the staff are not paid and attempt to address me in a way that is tactless, I simply ignore the PM.

 

Maybe it's time we get a few that still do, in the next promotions.

 

His pm to me was neutral so I was the same back.

 

I agree that it's crazy these people have positions in which it's all about the rank and not about the input but lots of the mods do try their best to make this forum a better place. Just find an active Runescape mod to help you out, I'm sure there's one...

 

I have an insane idea, let some active OMMs who are involved in RS trades daily have the ability to verify guides ; )

 

i agree most mods are fucking useless, never reply to pms.
