    Ban Dispute

He was apparently banned for evading under DieForDethklok before (http://www.sythe.org/showthread.php?p=6179527) but got out of it somehow. He also appears to have evaded the ban on Anthrax666, but I'm not sure why that account was banned either.

I have 2 accounts registered to my IP: DieForDethklok, Murdertrain, .::.GuideSeller.::. Murdertrain and .::.GuideSeller.::. are both my accounts, and DieForDethklok is my brothers. He vouched for me after I bought his account, I did not realize that you werent allowed a family member vouching (without it being written in the vouch) until later on in my sythe career and and totally forgotten about it until a little later which I then immediately took it out of the vouch list: http://www.sythe.org/showthread.php?t=824628 I know thats a pretty terrible excuse but I tried to correct a rule that was broken (family member vouching) by at least taking the vouch out I cant really permanently remove it.

The reason DieForDethklok was banned was because Murdertrain was temp banned due to infraction build up, so I decided to log on my brothers account DieForDethklok (He doesnt use it much) making me ban evade a 2 week temporary ban, I was later caught on it and got DieForDethklok + Murdertrain perma-banned. I then decided to ban evade yet again on .::.GuideSeller.::. and when I decided to dispute it and Penn answered it saying he will shorten to 1 month (I IMMEDIATELY sent Penn a PM informing him that to ban .::.GuideSeller.::. as well because I did not want to risk the chance of a permanent ban you can cross-check by logging in on the account because I doubt Penn still has that pm) however DieForDethklok remained permanently banned. After the ban was up I didn't bother logging on .::.GuideSeller.::.

Concerning Anthrax666, http://www.sythe.org/member.php?u=182621 heres the thread, I remember something about me getting him banned but I'm not sure it was a while back earlier in my Sythe career. So he changed his e-mail to [email protected] an e-mail I used to use. You can run an IP check on Anthrax666 and you will see the IP's dont match he has never used the e-mail [email protected] until before I made a scammers report agaisnt him. His only e-mail he has ever posted with was [email protected] so why would it suddenly change to [email protected]?

Anyways I know this is a pretty long dispute but I just need to make sure I present all the facts as they are, I have had a very successful Sythe career and I do not want to end it so abruptly.

You are responsible for your IP.

Considering he's a bigger part of the community (MMing/etc, has a complete OMM app) than Klava, and we had Klava prove his brother story, we should probably be fair and do the same for him?

And Pen lifted his 'ban evading' ban for the temp ban to a 1 month ban. He excused the 'ban evading'

If we're going to do this whole responsible for your IP thing, we can't be making exceptions ONLY for friends (IE, Klava/Bogy, Hahanerd/His brother)

And didn't we let Tengauge off with that whole vouching bull?

He ban evaded a temp ban so Pen reduced his ban to one month. He has also self vouched: http://www.sythe.org/showthread.php?t=844885

I dont quite see how else I can correct the vouch thing other then removing it from the vouch thread ._.

I'm not sure what to do on the matter. We've banned people for ban evading temp bans and self vouching (even if they claim they didn't know) in the past.

Pen pardoned him for the 'evading' so I guess it comes down to the self vouching (Which Tengauge got out of.)

I'm not sure what to do either. Ask Sin, because she reported it, or ask a current admin for their input/use their decision?

    Don't know.
