Eminem's Recovery.

Well, after this album being leaked, I thought I’d check it out.
When did Eminem get so boring? On this new album all he does is moan about 'You' (most likely 'Kim') and talk about how bad his last album was. Oh, and of course he mentions sex with Mariah care, again.

Eminem completely lost his way with the album 'Encore' (around the time he started on drugs). This however didn't continue with his next album, 'Relapse' the pre-released songs on this didn't do it for me. Such songs as 'We made you', but the album totally made up for it with songs like 'Same song same dance'.

No one is doubting Eminem’s' ability, but I personally believe he needs to move on from telling us all how bad his life has been, or how he was once poor, and how the critics now hate him.

On this new album he features pink and Rhianna. These songs, are worse than the others, he missed the mark by a mile when these songs were written.

Ideas for Eminem/summary:
Stop talking about how poor you once were;
Stop saying you're a 'lose cannon';
Stop telling women you're going to kick them and 'urinating in their face,' this mindless violence only makes yourself look silly;
Stop talking about Mariah care, we get it Marshal, you nailed her, well done;
You aren’t in any 'way' you’ve admitted you're filthy rich and can afford anything; we all know you're of drugs, well done for that;
Not afraid was enough, it was a great song and you told us how you feel, well done for getting off drugs, but we don't need 17 tracks about it.

I was planning on doing a review for every single song, but I honestly can't. Each song would just be the same "He is off drugs, hates Kim, wants to slap a bitch and has loads of money". I'm sorry Eminem, this album contains the best song you've ever done, Not afraid, but that’s where it ends.



Please Eminem; go back to your old ways.

 

Relapse sucked. Beautiful was the only good song on there, maybe followed by Underground. That's it. He sounded stupid on every other song, and that's strong coming from me, since I love all Eminem songs. Recovery is the shit, he's so much better on this album then Encore and Relapse put together. He's grown up now and his songs are about life, that's what he raps about, which is a lot better then drugs talking like a fucking idiot.

The whole psycho killer/rapist/incest/kidnapping dude is fine for a few songs, but for an entire album it got old fast.

Also, your summary doesn't reflect your opinion. Relapse was his worst album, no doubt. And if some chick made a song that was a clear diss to me, I'd keep going and stick it to her, just like he said in "The Warning": "As long as that songs gettin' air play I'm dissin' you". Fuck her, I hope he keeps going.

I'd be so disappointed if Eminem went back to anything like Relapse. He said it him "But lets be honest, that last relapse album was ehhh, perhaps i ran that acent into the ground, relax I ain't goin' back to that now.".

If he can see it, along with a whole lot of other people who think he's finally back to how good he was, I don't see why you can't.

The albums great and I'll be buying it.

 

i really disagree. the first Eminem song that he started talking about how much people hate him was 'the way i am'. Ever since then, ever album has been based around how shit his life is. Even in relapse, in the steve bergerman skit song, he is told in his own album.

Without a doubt, not afraid is a great song. But the rest of the album, all the songs sound the same. Without fail he mentions how hard is life is in every song. They're all the same!

Do you really class this as his best album?

 

I downloaded this album this morning, and it's probably the best thing I've downloaded this year. Eminem is definitely back to his best, and there isn't one bad song on there. I was abit iffy about the start of the first song, but then it kicked in, and I was thoroughly pleased with the album.

 

Yeah his freestyles are amazing. And his old albums were all pretty good, I myself still listen to them. Not Afraid and Despicable are sick.

honostly. he has so much money he could scream in songs and say things like i fucked your brother and your mother. and he could still sell 1m albums.

he's making albums for him, hes doing himself. not for money but for ure enjoyment and pleasure.

Recovery is one of his best albums since Marshal Mathers LP and has definitely lived up to its hype in my opinion.

I've loved every song in it and I'll definitely be buying it when it comes out.
