Regarding Donation Perks [Slight change in perks]

Lets face it, $100 is alot of money no matter how rich you are,donating $100 shows some maturity no? What im suggesting is that $100+ Donators be allowed to change there own user title, dont get me wrong, Mathew does an amazing job changing them in a timely matter, but it would be so much more convenient to be able to change em ourselves, and if somone misuses that (making it something inappropriate) then they should be infracted.

tl;dr - $100+ donators should be allowed to change there own user title.

Although I support (Ryan never responds to my requests to change), I think that is considered a mod power and they might lock this. I think its a good idea though, since if we dont get a response, we are essentially not able to utilize a perk of ours : /

 

I would support if they let Staff change them aswell.

 

Lets hope it isnt considered one.

I dont expect to get much support for this as there arent many of us.

The issue is with abuse, and usergroups as all the donators are in one usergroup. Thus, not even staff can change their own. >_>.


EDIT: And the built in thing for VB doesn't do colors and stuff.

 

There needs to be a line Drawn , possible rules

i.e. Let them change there UT however , Rules like no racism / offensive language etc.

I support. Makes admins job more easier.

People who abuse can just be banned, its that simple.

I don't know if they'd want to take up the time to change all the usergroups though.

 

I support. I don't really see anything wrong with it. Pros outweigh the cons, imo.

 

Their is an option in admincp to allow users to set their own usertitles, however it will only let admins use html via admincp. So unless you want to change your title to bland things without color and all that fancy stuff it's kind of pointless.

Although, there might be a mod that will allow users to set their own usertitles with html, but even then you could put in something malicious.

 

I don't really see a problem with this. If someone donates $100+ dollars, I'm sure they would be careful enough to not put anything stupid and be banned.
