How are people magically getting PINs?

Ok so I see all these people selling PINs for dirt cheap and I've really wondered how they acquire these. I'm not looking for people to tell me ways for me to get them, I want to know possibilities of how people acquire them free or REALLY cheap etc.

 

You sign up for a pinline. You're paying a monthly fee, which lets you place all sorts of calls online (unlimited) and you can get pins by calling surfpin. There IS a max though, I'm not sure of the numbers, but most people get a few pins per day for a month or two, then sell them.

 

Isn't that illegal?

 

lol you dont sign up for a pinline, nor are pinlines the only method of acquiring pins.

There are many methods of obtaining them, although several are either illegal, or not permited to be used on Sythe. As such, you will not get too many responses from sellers on the subject.

 

basically, you're paying a monthy fee to get a shit load of pins, which you then sell. You have to sell them cheaper than credit card membership, but high enough to make a profit.

Note: most of the sellers are from New Zeland. Their laws are sketchy, that's how they can get pins so easily.

 

You dont pay a monthly fee. Im not entirely sure, but from how I understand it,there was a leakage of some phone lines by a certain australian (not NZ) phone company, and now those lines can be exploited to acquire free pins, cheating the jagex p2p system.

I am not really an expert on the topic, but thats roughly what I have heard from asking about it.
