Hand cannon pure?

Hey guys, recently made a decision to mess around some and try out something new by making a hand cannon pure. I know they exist, I've watched some of the videos, but I'm not entirely sure where to start. I've looked around some and can't find any tutorials or what stats you need, etc.

I was hoping that if somebody has made of these before they could help me out and maybe point me in the right direction. In the mean time should I just train up range a bit in nons?

Um isnt a hand canon pure just a void pure that uses a hand canon? i could be wrong but if im right you just make a void pure, not 100% what a hand canon pure is though LOL so dont double check with this

 

Hah, to be honest I'm not too certain at all of what I'm doing. I planned on getting my void on as soon as I could and all, but I didn't know what the certain skills for the quest requirements are or if I should be raising any combat stats aside from range or anything.

I was pretty much hoping one of you may have happened to stumble upon a guide once that you knew the source to. Thanks though, I appreciate it.

A Hand cannon Pure is something I've looked deeply into doing for awhile, heres some of the information I've gathered.
Well, the Initial requirements to be a Hand Cannon Pure would be:

75 Range
69 Strength
61 Hunter
61 Firemaking
30 Defence
40 Mining
50 Smithing
22 Cooking
17 Farming
10 Fishing
12 Crafting
33 Magic
14 Thieving.

And the Quests you need will be...

Forgiveness of a Chaos Dwarf
Between a Rock...
Forgettable Tale of a Drunken Dwarf
The Giant Dwarf
Fishing Contest
Knight's Sword (Optional)


Now a Closer look...

You're Going to definitely want more then 61 Fire making, I've pked with hand-cannon on my main. When your Risking about 3m you don't want the hand cannon k0ing you which has happened to me on multiple occasions. 99 Firemaking cost about 4.5m With Maple logs (90k Logs) and like 2.5m with Willows (like 140k logs). you can easily bot 99 fire making in a week or a little bit more. you might want to look into that. Also i'd recommend just raising your defense from the required 30 to 45 so u can wear ranger helm, d'hide bodies and void.

The ideal Hand-Cannon pure Imo would have these stats...

99 Range
45 Defence ( You can use zerker / ranger helm and Void)
94 Magic (Vengeance / Ice Barrage)
1-70 Attack (Just because it won't effect your Combat)
69-79 Strength (Just because it won't effect your Combat)
99 Hitpoints
52 Prayer (Smite)
80-99 Firemaking (Super cheap and helps a bunch with your Hand-Cannon)

Your Combat level would end up being 90.

Hey, thanks a ton for putting so much work into that post, I really appreciate it. I plan on getting done all of the above quests and I'm training the account as we speak.

One thing I'd like to know is does it matter what order I level up these stats? I.e does it matter if I get 20 range, then 20 mage, then 20 att, etc, or can I do them in any order?

And a final question, any melee weapon in particular I should use to train? I heard from somebody that using an obby maul doesn't raise HP, but I didn't think that was true. Any tips?

Um, the only way it would matter was if you wanted to do recipe for disaster for barrows gloves as you get atleast 34 defence just from the quests that you need for it. Besides that you can basically level it however you want.

Yh I Reckon It Wouldnt Be Ok Full Void & Cannoning Wont Be To Bad. Good Luck I May Even Try It.

 

Just got downed today on my zerk by a handcannon/void pure.. Whatever they call it these days. Veng and hand-cannon spec is a nice combo.

 

First thing first...you need High Range + 99 Fm.

FM is the only thing that helps your cannon survive for a longer time without it exploding. You can always try SW for your skills.
