Have you gone back to the gym?

Many gyms were closed due to Covid, and I was wondering if anyone has gone back to the gym?

Personally, I don’t plan on going back to the gym anytime soon. I have bought enough equipment where I am happy.

For those who have been going to the gym, how has it been?

 

Nope, I think it is still dangerous (covid wise).

 

I don’t feel like wearing a mask the whole time either.

 

I've been slacking big time. Definitely need to hit it again.

 

Since January 2021 I'm attending to gym for 3-5 times a week. Gyms were closed for approx 2 months here but we found a way with my trainer to keep going towards our aim regardless of dumbness of our goverment.

 

I try to go to the gym at least once a week. After all, it's very important to keep me in good physical shape all the time. Besides, many guys like slim girls.

I mostly run at the moment with a weighted vest.

 

I've also been buying enough equipment over time, I have a few nice machines + weights to the point where I don't need a membership anymore.
Plus it's always nice being able to workout for 30 mins.. go for a shower.. and then go straight to work (since I work from home) without needing to leave the house.

 

Gym is awesome
Didn't particuliarly enjoy it at first but now it is something that I need.

No but I should. I've lost 15 pounds in muscle mass alone from stopping for 3 months. Time to get it back

 

During covid I mainly did calisthenic workouts since I didn't have proper equipment at my house. When gyms reopened I went back, but even if I had equipment at home I'd still go to the gym because I feel like I'm locked in to the workout if that makes sense. Like if I'm home I'd probably feel more distracted and half ass my workout but when I'm at the gym I know I can tell myself I won't leave until I've done everything I came here to do. That's just me though... like when I had my inconsistent phases where I'd go like 2 days a week or take short breaks I'd use pre workout as a way of forcing myself to go to the gym to get back in the swing of things. I guess what I'm trying to say is whatever works to get you going and keep you consistent, stick to it. As long as you're consistent and eat good you'll see results.

 

I've been working out from home for the past 1.5yrs, pretty happy with it

 

Did this and now I've been working out consistently for 8 weeks so far. Trying to make it a whole year. It is time to get my stats IRL to all 99s.
