I know this forum gets the most attention in comparison to the other graphics sub-sections, and it is sometimes hard to get a clear response for any problems you've got with photoshop.

So I'm here to help out those who are having trouble understanding or mastering the program. I will do my best to make clear your problem, how you can fix it and give you alternatives if you still have trouble after that.

As of now I deem this thread open, and I'm ready to offer my assistance if you find yourself a bit lost.

Feel free to hit me up on msn [email protected] if you want a faster response (depending on time zone).

    Ask away :)

So lately, (the past week), Whenever i hold down shift to do a solid line in some of my stuff instead of the line going from the Mark i made to my current cursor it will take a line off the the canvas and it will come back to where my cursor was. At first it only happened rarely but now it's happening more times then not and I've googled the shit out of it.

Heres a pic I did for an example. (This was on the first try lol).

The first part of the line is where i made my base mark, then i held shift and clicked where i wanted the line to go and thats what happens.

-Off Topic, yes Ik how to use other stuff to make lines but I've been experimenting with some stuff.

Are you using a touch pad on a laptop or a graphics tablet? If you are give it a good clean to get away anny dirt or crumbs or dust whatever. I had the same problem and now it's OK. Sometimes if you get sweaty hands it happens too <3

Try this, if it doesn't work, try changing the flow to 99%. I personally have some troubles smudging at 100% and it could be a similar problem with this drawing/line.

I have this problem quite often. Try hitting caps lock on and off and see if that helps. Otherwise let me know and I'll show you how to reset your settings.
