The Advantages of a Multispaced Name.

Recently i've started botting, roughly around 6 - 10 hrs a day, at yew trees in camelot/catherby. Considering how populated it is, and how my account is a low level, i was wondering why i haven't been getting any randoms, due to people reporting me.

Then it just clicked last night - I have a multispaced name.
Therefore, people probably want to, or try to report me, but have no idea how many spaces are in my name. I once botted my firemaking at one stage, and i baby sitted the bot, someone actually asked me how many spaces was in my name so that they could report me (what a noob).

Do you think this is infact the reason why i am not getting any randoms etc? Or do you think there is an alternative reason?

 

I doubt its the reason your not getting randoms, but its a pretty sweet theory that could be true.

 

it depends, how many spaces? i can see how it would be hard to report you because it is hard to tell sometimes

 

I've seen names like this before and honestly there is no way in he'll people could tell if you have 4+ spaces.

I am kinda wishing mine was double spaced to bot now :/

 

I have 5 spaces in my name, so its not something ridiculus like 10 etc, but still, some people often guess i have 3 spaces, then they guess 4, before eventually guessing 5.

 

I don't think it makes you random-proof. But it definitely makes it harder for you to get banned. Pity they don't allow multispaced names now

 

Thats actually a great idea. It makes sense and would prolly work, until some kid actually takes the time to report your name with different number of spaces.lol

Oh, and I don't think randoms are really based on reports.

 

I know it doesn't make me random-proof, and i know you still get randoms regardless of being reported or not. But, if you get reported several times for botting, doesn't Jagex then flag your account, which means you get more randoms to try to determine whether you are botting or not?

And i doubt any or many people can be bothered going into highscores, typing in multiple space options, to try to figure out how many spaces i actually have in my name, to then report me with. So it means i will probably get a hell of a lot less reports than anyone else.

I think i might have a 6 spaced name that i don't use, if anyones interested. I'm not sure though, i'd have to check to see if i still have it.
I did have a 3 spaced and 4 spaced account too, but i think i gave them away.

 

Ive noticed i wanted to report bots at times but didnt want to take time because there name was setup weird, its possible ha.

 

Multi Spaced names are great, probally does not affect randoms though.

But It could:

Get reported by a crew of wannabee MODS
They send a random
Cant do random
Get flaged

(it might work like that,I have no idea {no one does})

But not been reported due to your name been spaced or hard to understand is great, probally why my main has never been banned.

 

If it's purely for the prevention of being reported while botting, you can always using a mix of similar letters, for example 'ililililililiii'

 

5 is a good numnber. its hard to tell exactly how many they have itf its over like 2

 

I wonder if this is related to them not allowing multi-spaced names anymore.

I could imagine it does.
