Do you think they bot?

All the kids with maxed skills (exluding dungeoneering). I mean personally I can get 3 99's legit; 99 range, 99 cooking, 99 mage. They're just fucking fast. Maybe s.ayer because it's actually fun but 100m + exp means your doing it 24/7. But everything else like agility, seriously the max you get is 70k exp an hour and theres a few 200ms and someones going for 1billion exp on the runescape forums with doing multiple accounts.

So I've come to the conclusion that everyone up there bots

 

i doubt they bot.. im sure some do but jagex would know about it. their macro detection software is pretty advanced

 

no if someone can get 200m exp with a bot please notify me cause your lucking to get a 99 unless you soulwars it. since everybody these days think if you dont talk your botting.
and i do belive also multiply threads on the mod fourms on Runescape stating bans come from people reporting correct reports.. meaning jagex detection system is run off people reporting correct reports then jagex taking note.

our the people with high stats / exp make their own bots scripting ect.

 

yeah that's actually what i was thinking is that they made their own scripts, and bot clients.

 

My theory is that jagex is letting a small amount of players bot 24/7 and get amazing maxed accounts - to allow for "famous" or "unbeleivable" players (who are all members btw) into runescape, get all other players talking and wanting to become just like them. It encourages f2p fanboys to get a membership at some point, so it is actually a good tactic for jagex.

I think Jagex does allow certain people to bot, to influence the rest of Runescape community to be like them.

 

That or a more believable explanation is the fact that they share an account using VPS, I've personally talked to the #6 of slayer and he said he shares it with his clan (4 people) using a VPS.

They don't play legit.. I'm pretty sure of that. Unless they're retired or something and have fuck all to do with their time?

 

I personally can not see them botting such high exp without a ban, but also to get that much exp.. i don't know, i know i couldn't do it though lol.

 

I couldnt see them botting, they would be long gone imo if they botted. They're just super pasty kids who have yet to see sunlight.

i think jagex keeps a high look at the most maxed, high lvl players.

 

it is possible they do make their own scripts and clients and everything. they would have to be able to talk and stuff with other people though because people would try to talk to them a lot.

A lot of people have shitty, mundane jobs and could literally spend 15+ hrs per day on Runescape.
Here in Korea, the people who are employed by the Internet Cafes just sit around and play games all day, even when it's not their shift. I could easily imagine one of them logging upwards of 12 hours in Runescape on a daily basis.

Also, @OP, i think the guy who said he was going for 1b agi xp was just trolling.

 

All 'jobs' become mundane over time.

In the past when i went to an internet cafe on a regular basis i would ALWAYS see the game guy there playing WoW. His desk area would be cluttered with junk food and depending on the time of day he may have been asleep in his chair. The guy worked at the cafe, and it was evident that he also lived there- seemingly on the computer 24 hours a day.
