PM Download Guide / Ideas

I get/send on average about 30+ PMs a day. Sure there are many members out there that would like to know if there is a better way to historically save/read PMs after they've been downloaded. Any smart guys out there on options after PMs have been downloaded? Thanks

In short.. I need some good options to maintain proof considering my donation PMs

 

Well I don't get over 9000 PMs a day so I doubt I'll be using it. But since you help Sythe, and this suggestion helps you, I support. This would probably help all the other popular people too.

 

Uh I had difficulty understanding that, but let me see if I got it. You want a way to be able to download PMs since you have donation records stored in there? Have I got it right?

How about you screenshot each PM and number it. Then, create a database of all the donations you've done, with a link to the number of a screenshot. For example, person X has donated 5 dollars.. You label his screenshot as 1. Does that make sense? =/

 

I tried this and found it to be tough.. What I would like, although I'm sure not possible would be a way to download to something like MS Outlook.

 

Administration should give you unlimit PM inbox space

 

I get 10-20 PMs a day and if it contains important information, I just screenie it and save it.

I doubt we can create a download guide anytime soon.

 

This is an interesting idea. I highly doubt the likelihood of something like this being implemented, however I too would find this useful for saving different MMing contracts/agreements etc.

And 30 PMs a day? Lucky, I think I got around 90 yesterday : p

You guys do know you can download pm's right?

Im pretty sure you download them inbox at a time, just arrange them in folders by date.

I believe you could just save them as HTML (Probly the best way) then arrange them into folders, im not exactly sure what your needing. :nuts:

 

All great ideas, however there must be another method to store PMs outside Sythe similar to what we see here or as I said earlier, such as MS Outlook. Thanks for the feedback though.

 

Outlook, where would you store it in outlook?

Is there a way to import xml files? I think you can do that in excel.

 

I would like unlimited pm box too:embar: but yeah Spyike270 would need it since he handle paypal donate and he don't uses msn to talk about sythe only pm's
