    Post count does not matter?

    o i know i posted last but,

-Post count does matter, in the beginning someone had to trade a leecher to get this site started.but to get what is called "LEGIT" vouches you have to trade someone who has many posts to be considered legit.

To sum it up- to be "LEGIT" you have to trade "LEGIT" and someone has to be "LEGIT"

    Post count does not matter?

posts per day is what you should be looking at, that and vouches.

i say 3 posts - 7 posts a day is normal. If they have more I think they're a scammer.

    Post count does not matter?

I agree here, I just came here looking to sell so yes, my post count is low.

I can understand skepticism towards low post counts, though. I would be too.

    Post count does not matter?

I have an extremely low post count for being here 5 years, in part because i'm on and off and because im adamant about not posting unless it's constructive(few exceptions).

    Post count does not matter?

Post count and join date along with vouches do earn a person rep in my opinion, expecially if it's a trade between 2 people.

I think it does, it shows how much a person worked on there account, besides just check the join date, if its like a week before (SCAMMER). What I usually look at is the vouches, that's the most important to me though.

    Post count does not matter?

yeah i dont beleive post counts matter, im around 500 or usmthing last time i checked and iv been around about a year but i wouldnt call myself trusted. not saying im untrustworthy and i spam for posts, most of my posts are from "free skilling threads" where i reap the benefits of people trying to become a trsuted/respected member

Denied, Post Count Means Nothing. I Could Sit Here Posting Random Crap, Does NOT Mean I Am Legit/Trusted.

    Post count does not matter?

    I kinda feel that both ways;

    More Posts
    - If you have more posts, you may not want your account banned and you may put more effort into your trading.
    - More posts shows that you are more known with a community

    Less Posts
    - Could be some ban evader
    - Could actually be somebody trying for a legit rank on a site

So in my beliefs it could go either way.

I don't see where you're coming from with your second point under 'Less Posts'

    Post count does not matter?

I believe i worded it wrong. i mean it could actually be somebody who is actually trying to become trusted on the site and only has a few posts. i mean we all gotta start somewhere?

Quick Comment: Love how the person who made this thread is banned with just under 500 posts.

I believe the biggest factor is join date.

    Post count does not matter?

    Disagree
Take me, for example, I joined in April of 2007 and didn't take another look at these forums until March of 2010. While I personally would never scam, this join date should not play a factor in my trustworthiness.

Fair enough. However, I'd trust you more than someone who Joined in April of 10' with 900-1100 posts.

    Post count does not matter?

Vouches, previous trades and staff ranks should be the only factors people take into account.
