    Ive been botting for 4 days straight to try and get banned. But about a week ago i got this message from jagex:

    Thank you for your appeal.

    This message is to inform you that your appeal has been granted. We have now locked your account in order to avoid any further unauthorised access by a third party.

    You are now required to submit a account recovery request, which can be done by selecting the 'Recover a Locked Account' option on the Account Management page of our website (www.runescape.com or www.funorb.com).

    May we please take this opportunity to remind you to read the Rules of Conduct? We would also like you to take some time to read our Safety & Security Guidelines, which are located in the 'Customer Support' section of our website (www.runescape.com or www.funorb.com).     Which in other words means that jagex think my account is locked and therefore i havent been banned yet.

    My question is... HOW THE FUCK?

    You're appeal is successful because you claimed that another person has access to your account. Jagex have now locked it because of the same reason. Just use your recovery information to unlock it and you're good to go. Another thing is that they don't give out perm bans for botting anymore! It's a 10 day, then a 14 day for your 2nd offence, then a perm!

    As to a reason why Jagex let your appeal through, it's probably because you have a dynamic IP address (changing all the time).

    Im currently botting pc to see how long it takes for the banhammer.

    Ive done about 6 hours today on and off. But leaving on all night.

    Jagex can not give you a 'custom' answer. The have a list of responses that they MUST choose from. Probably all responses had the part saying your account has been locked, which they HAD to pick. But, since you requested it not be locked, the person granting your appeal did not lock it. So just because the pre-written message says it is locked, does not mean jagex think it is locked.

    Thats the only explanation i can think of.

    But if Jagex do think your account is locked, then you are lucky!

    are you saying that they said your accoutn was locked and it never got locked? Cause the same thing happend to me
