Best Spec for DPS.

What class/spec is what I am asking then.

When fully in best in slot gear, fury warriors and feral druids pull the most DPS as far as I know.

 

I was honestly thinking Blood Elf Mage. Is that a good idea?

 

It's easy to play arcane mage... it's basically 2 buttons (no joke!) and they do a shit load of DPS.

And you can't really pick your class depending on what class is the 'Best DPS' because Blizzard ALWAYS makes changes to class. One day your class can be the highest dps, and by the next patch it can easily go to the bottom (or near it)

arcane mages aren't the best dps spec / class >_> Arcane isn't even the best dps spec for mages.

 

It's a close call, depends on the situation.

But, I also think that Fury Warriors and Feral Druids are currently the highest dps. Up there with Assassination Rogues, as always.

 

arcane is the only spec that is good for pve.....
and logs show rogues assa are currently highest dps

 

Arcane is defiantly better for lower gear levels, higher end icc normal mode they're about the same, but once you start getting into heroic icc fire is superior in almost every fight.

go through all of those kills and find an arcane mage, I've clicked on about 10 of them and they where all fire.

 

well i play a mage, iv always been fire, but i wasnt happy with my dps, then i went arcane... and jesuschrist thats dps.

 

like i said, fire is only viable if you're in pretty much all 251+ gear, becomes insanely good at 264+ gear

fire was also buffed in the last patch so yah.

Id pick a spec i really liked more than the DPS Factor. If its something you like generally you can pull more dps than a better dps yet disliked spec.

How do you make a Fury Warrior? Stupid question. Can you make a Fury Warrior on ANY race?

 

Make a warrior, get to level 10, put your talent points into the fury tree.

And warriors can be any race besides blood elf (until the next expansion)

But just a warning, they're only top dps with super high end gear, and skill. The odds are that the next expansion will come out before you get even close to there, so everything will be completely changed. From what i've read warriors are also very gear dependent, so until you get gear your dps will probably suck / when the next expansion comes out you could be fucked for the first 6 months until better gear comes out.
