VPS Private Servers

Hey Guys,
I'm thinking about purchasing a VPS, and i'm wondering how much RAM i would need to bot accounts.
I Will be botting Soulwars.

How much RAM needed for 1 account
How much RAM needed for 2 accounts
How much RAM needed for 3 accounts
How much RAM needed for 4 accounts
How much RAM needed for 5 accounts
How much RAM needed for 6 accounts

Is there a VPS host that you reccomend or have used before?
Is there anything else that I need to have a look at? For example: Is RAM the only thing that could affect the success of the bots?

Well as you might've guessed? I'm not exactly a genius @ computers. And that really didn't help me at all.

 

512MB can handle 1 bot.
1GB Can handle 2 bots.

I don't know if it keeps going like that because i have never tried. But a VPS that can hold 6 bots aint gonna be cheap!

You must be looking at the wrong place. The one for 19.95 has 1.5GB RAM.

How much RAM does it have?
The one on burst.net has 4GB and costs 49.95$/month.

 

My one currently? It has like 2GB RAM.
Im looking for windows 2003 / 2008, not LINUX.

EDIT: I checked out that site, but i don't follow? I'm meant to be looking for RAM? I think, but it doesn't clearly say what the RAM is, unless im missing it? Mind helping?

And why not linux? It's alot cheaper.

 

According to my brother, Linux fail's mega bad.
He know's stuff about comps. So i trusted him on that part.

I just set up mines today, and I'm using Linux atm. Working great atm. It's just a tad slow compared to botting on my own computer. Though the good side is that, my computer isn't over heating anymore.

I would disagree, what type of field is your brother in? As I run servers for a living and I can tell you that at least 90% of the internet is run on linux servers.

Windows is not only a memory and process hog it costs to have it installed on your server monthly.

So with linux you're getting an operating system that's free, well built, minimal memory usage (more for the bots) and is very simple to operate once it's set up.

I would recommend to purchase a server with linux and do some research and not just believe your brother as I can tell you sir, he is dead wrong.

Defenetly worth reading again. It's a really good guide, which i also used to set my old VPS with linux (CentOS) up with. It will be less confusing once you get the VPS and the programs, it's really not that hard

I would also say you should go with linux. It works great and its cheaper.

The higher the RAM the vps is, the more it would cost just to tell you. At x10hosting, it would cost like $40/month for like 2k MB of RAM

I got a linux one off www.burst.net for $30, and I will tell you I was not able to run 1 bot for at least 2 hours, it's the worst VPS service I've ever had.
