Text Animation Help

Hey, I need help with animating text. I want to make text fade in and fade out then a differnt word fades in and then fades out and so on and so on. To do this I usually just make the text and duplicate the layers and change the opacity on each one by 10 so one will be 100% next 90% next 80% next 70% and so on till I get to 0 and then I go back up like, 10%, 20%. But then when I play the .gif in the animation window it goes as slow as hell even when I have the delay time on "no delay". What am I doing wrong? I am using photoshop cs3.

Instead of setting it to no delay try setting it to something very small like 0.1 seconds, other then that it might just be lag.

 

I tried it, didn't work =[ thanks tho.

 

Post a picture of your set-up? Have you tried saving and viewing it on a webpage? Sometimes when my files are too big, the animation lags on my Photoshop program.
