I used a bot on RuneScape for 5 minutes. Am I going to be banned?

Jagex has a mouse movement and clicker Detector. Using a bot for only 5 mins do any damage?

 

Are you honestly concerned? People bot multiple 99s without being banned, you're fine.

THey CANNOT detect bots no matter how much they say they can, only way they will ever know or THINK you have botted will be from people reporting you ive ran a bot for 2 weeks straight made 3m gp cutting yews and still running strong.:noworry:

 

and even if they could detect it, it would only be a temp ban.

 

if you were using a mouse macro, yes there is a chance..

 

for 5 minutes, honestly they wouldn't even give a shit.

It really depends on the bot you used, what you were botting, etc, etc.


I wouldn't stress out, to much about it, though. As people have said, Jagex recently reverted to a temporary ban for botting now.

It's nice that you're concerned, but there's no cause for worry. People bot for 15 hours a day for weeks and don't get banned. 5 minutes with an autoclicker or something isn't going to hurt you.

 

I'd listen to this guy , everyone else is just trying to get there post count up.

But no they wont catch you, imo. I don't know exactly how they catch people, neither does anyone else, but if I read somewhere in the news archives that they go through where you click, rotations of the camera, etc. So they would need way more information then 100 clicks that you did too ban you.

But no one here really knows for sure.

Either way, 5 minutes of botting won't get you banned.

If it was some kind of auto-talker bot which you flooded with text next to a mod, then yes.

But if it was subtle, then no.
