Ability to delete threads?

I think anyone should be able to delete their own threads.

For instance, I'm done with my thread and no one needs to see it anymore or be involved in it, I can just delete the thread.

I know most of the threads can help for solving a scamming situation but that's why people have the option to take screenies of their trades, etc.

Also, there are some people who have 4 pages of threads they own, and they do not use the thread for any purposes whatsoever , so I think it should be an option to delete your own threads.

 

No. It's on the DNS list. No giving normal members mod powers.

But, what's the point of only having mods deleting the thread, it is something you made, and you should be able to manage your own thread. Not by just editing it, but changing the title and, or deleting.

 

PM a mod for a delete or edit of title.
The reason they're not having this is because evidence can easily be disposed of. For example, I wouldn't have been able to catch 80+ evaders if it had not been for the archives.

Exactly. Plus we like having post count stats. And we are not going to be giving members mod powers. Just PM a mod.

 

Users will never be able to delete their owns threads because of the security issue.
