A quick question

If you buy something for trade price from a player on Runescape, can you turn around and sell it right away in the Grand Exchange, or does the 4-hour-limit apply like you purchased it through the Grand Exchange?

It has been awhile since I have bought something and tried to sell it in the G.E., and I was a little shady on the question.

 

Haha yeah its good, its the same with buying something in the GE then just selling it to a player too.

 

No, 4h limit doesn't apply in that case.
Only in GE I believe.

 

If you buy something from a player you can't sell it on the ge for 4 hours.

The four hour limit is only for G.E.

You can sell to a player right after buying on the G.E.
You can sell on the G.E. right after buying from a player

 

I just tried this with law runes, though, by buying them from a player. Then, when I went to sell them, they would not sell for minimum on the Grand Exchange. Is it just because law runes are going down, or because of the limit? ( I am going to test with another item, just to be sure, from all the conflicting responses ).

 

You can buy from G.E then sell to a player, but then you can not buy the same item for another 4 hours.

You can buy an item from a player but not sell it back on G.E until another 4 hours.

Tested while transferring

if you buy from a player. you wont be able to sell in ge for 4 hours

 

Yeah, jagex made it so trades affect the GE aswell.
