Modern Warfare 2 vs. Bad Company 2

So I have MW2 for the ps3, and now all my friends got BC2 and want me to get it.

Opinions on both of them please? What are the ups and downs, which do you prefer?

 

MW2 if you like fast action tv screaming fun.
Or BFBC2 for slow paced action but more of a tactic pace game.

In all honesty i bought MW2 legit i played through all the Campaign and Spec ops mission. I think there could have been a few things they could have incorporated from their old games. Dedicated hosts for example? I mean lets just screw over everyone that dosent live in china for christ sake! that one noob that has full green bars owning cause no one can even load within two seconds. Also they should have added a multiplayer feature for the campaign that would have made it much more enjoyable to me at least. Also the maps got old. One time we went four games in a row playing terminal really? FOUR times? IWnet fail. Oh not to mention the constant getting connected into hacked servers oh joy! lets just play with people that all have aimbots and two light-machine guns! Not to mention VAC's constant bitchyness about all the hackers oh god VAC dont get me started and that epic failure of a cheat protection. All in all i had fun with MW2 for the first day then i asked myself whats the point? Seriously lets all use the same strats, camp like the epic nubs you are oh and noob tube oh god the noob tube. All in all MW2 EPIC FAIL go with BC2 thats your best bet.

 

PC gaming is a waste of time

MW2 is fast paced and you can play it a ton of different ways
BC2 is super duper slow paced and you can play it a ton of different ways

The only difference is the speed. BC2 doesn't really have campers and is more tactical.

 

This is not true. There are many places to hide and snipe from in BC2.

Modern Warfare 2 - Many different ways to play the game and is more quick-paced and fun in my opinion. You can prestige up to level 10 and really hone in on your skills as you grow.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 - Slow paced game, but has great sound effects and 4 different kits that you can use to play as (Assault, Engineer, Medic, Recon). This provides diversity, as well as usage of the vehicles.

I personally prefer MW2 over BC2, as the action is much greater and just much more fun to play.

 

I'd have to disagree. Consoles have a lot of flaws when it comes to graphics. And playing FPS games with a keyboard and a mouse gives you a somewhat realistic feeling.

Anyway, I personally prefer Bad Company 2 because you can blow shit up. Sometimes it's hard though, as the enemy can blow out your cover too.

 

i'm talking sitting in the corner with a scar and getting kills, you don't do that in bc2.

sounds, graphics and pretty much everything is better on bad company 2.. except gameplay.

if i were to play a fps on the pc i would need the xbox 360 wireless adapter. keyboards are just not realistic at all, pulling the trigger on the 360's controller is way closer to pulling a real trigger than clicking the mouse.

graphics-wise, yes it is better, duh.

when it comes to online shit though you got the worst, tons of hackers, high ping, lag, etc.

 

Well, I would say modern warfare 2.
I love modding it, such as aimbots, tenth prestige.

Bc2 is the biggest camper game ever, worse than mw2 i'd have to say.

Both Completely Diffrent games so how can you make comparisons?

modern warfare 2 obviously. it's the #1 most played game on xbox live.

i don't know/don't care about ps3 but i'm sure it's the same over there too.

 

MW2 is for kids
BC2 is for people with brains..
bc2 is no game where you can just run around like a headless chicken like in mw2.
in bc2 you actually need your team. if you have IRL friends who also play bc2, you should team up with them.
bc2 has just released so atm there are some problems in it.
Also pc gaming is not a waste of time... pc gaming need more skills then those console kiddies.
there is no autoaim in pc, so console kiddies probably cant play on pc.

 

pc doesn't take a lot of skill, i am a shitty pc player and i went positive and won most of the games on bad company 2

i can't play it right because the fucking scope is toggled, i have to click like a billion times to get it to do what i want it to whereas if i was playing on console i would just hold in the left trigger to scope and release when i'm done scoping in.

i have changed my mind though, i like bad company more than mw2 now, it's just filled with so much bullshit my friend actually broke his disc after we were done playing lol i heard it crack on skype

console gaming is much more fun for me. you pull the right trigger it shoots the gun, that's more realistic than pushing down your mouse button.

also something that annoys me about bc2 is that it makes windows 7 go into windows 7 basic from aero and it's kind of annoying.

 

Modern Warfare 2 is shit enough said. I prefer BC2, but I play gamebattles and Mw2 is where it is at on there so yeah..

 

MW2 = Modding Warfail 2
BC2 = Real life

 

bc2 is much much better than mw2
its slower paced but way way more fun - vehicles, actual guns, tactical with friends

i recommed the single player over mw2 its sooo much better

 

bfbc is good its more slow paced that mw2 and its a bit harder to communicate with your team since its 4 teams of 4 that make up a team. and you can only talk to your other 3 squad members not the whole team, i think thats its major draw back

 

You CAN communicate with your whole team and the enemy team.
Buttons:
"j" All chat: this gives you message to everyone in game. (both teams)
"k" Team chat: This is for team communication (all 4 squads in your team)
"l" Squad chat: This is for squad only
