Bethesda Studios (Elder Scrolls series, Fallout etc)

I'd imagine on an MMORPG forum that there would have to be fans of Bethesda Studios?

The Elder Scrolls series featuring the debut console rpg Morrowind (one of my childhood favorites) and its latter game Oblivion for xbox 360. The game of the year edition is essential.. this has got to be THE BEST rpg game ever made, if you know of something better please inform me.

Fallout 3; Another fantastic rpg set in a post-apocalyptic world as opposed to the fantasy universe Elder Scrolls takes place in. Again, the game of the year edition is necessary to appreciate the game. It shares the same engine as oblivion and its another favorite of mine for the 360.

Bethesda has also released a game for xbox called Call Of Cthulhu- a first persion shooter roleplaying/adventure mystery that i have yet to try.

 

I've got Oblivion on PS3, I love it.

 

i got fall out 3 but i stopped playing because the map is waaay to long and i dont like how every action affects your gameplay like if you accidently kill someone they will be gone forever

 

Kind of like real life. Don't most people look for a 'no boundaries' sort of theme in an RPG? The point is to be able to roam boundless territory, and act in any sort of way you'd like - with or without consequence. This is the entire foundation of the RPG genre. I find it odd you don't enjoy what the game offers.

Elder Scrolls kept me playing for an eternity
However, I lost faith in them with the release of Rogue Warrior. The fact that they would put their name on that shows the lack of respect they have for us gamers.
