Invisibiliy Glitch!!!!!!!!

What the heck? There's tons of invisible players lately, I just saw this guy have these wierd blue rings fly around him then he turned invisible

Is this some item from ew3?

I believe it happens when you equip a Body Body and are wearing a Quest cape (or maybe any cape of accomplishment).

He didn't teleport because he had a white dot on the minimap and was walking around, and I saw his character shadow and could right click him

He was wearing a firemaking cape and full dragon

The combination of the body armour from the elemental workshop quests and the faithful shield makes you invisble while the blue rings float around you. Only appears for some graphics options though.

Same thing happens when someone uses soul split on you while you have the faithful shield on.

So... hypothetically speaking... could I get a faithful shield and body body, and go into pvp and own people with a vesta's long while they can't see me? ^^

Or is it an unintentional glitch

If you constantly swap between equipping a two 'bodies' (elemental, mind or body) the rings will constantly be around you.

Doing this I can be invisible forever while wearing my faithful shield. You can still see my shadow though.

The rings aren't constantly around him though, only when he goes into or goes out of invisibility

He's invisible on all graphics settings, I checked "software" "opengl" and "activex" in addition to safe mode

The rings are still there when you are invisible, you just can't see then because you are, well, invisible.

its a very specific kit that i have to use to maintain invisibility, and u can pretty much forget moving, let alone attacking, there is also a kit set up where for some reason it shows switching into the elemental armor naturally but when i switch into non-elemental armor i "blink" out of existance like you describe, its fun to ***** around with but i doubt there is any practical application for using it unless you use it as a sentry for something like clanwars, as with the kit I use for doing it there are hardly any combat bonuses, hell u might not even be able to do it without a whip as far as i know

^yes, to do that requires the rapid switching of 2 elemental pl8 armors, and specific other kit, there may be multiple specific combos but mine requires a seers headband(mines lvl 2 idk if lvl matters), agi legs, ardy(lvl 3 again unsure if relevant), whip(mine is green, but idk if color matters), an ele body and shield(any type, does NOT matter, the trick is to time the clicking of the ele body so the animation(or glitched non-animation as it were, does not stop), you can walk but it is difficult, i am unsure whether you could click on an invisible player or not(i would think you still can, if you want to test in duel arena you can test on me),

though i do use it in ge for lulz i don't consider it bug abuse(due to my lack of seeing any real practical use or harm to other players), so i see no reason jagex would take action against it in anything but pvp, where(if my kit is the example) it can't be used in cwars or soul wars(cape is part of it) and definately not in sc or ma, so Fog, clanwars, and pvp worlds are the only possible spots but since pvpers should use the minimap anyways even there its use is limited, not to mention the fog arrow

Not like you can use this in PvP without actually trying hard to stay invisible. If it was a glitch that made you invisible the whole time, maybe that can come in handy. But this is clearly just a graphical glitch that will be fixed in a few days.

Not true. If you are seen doing a bug even not using it for an advantage you are still at risk for being banned. Bug abuse is bug abuse, if you are doing a bug then that's abuse. You have to be careful when bug abusing. Simply stay under the radar and you'll be fine. (stay out of public places when glitching/bug abusing)
