    Recovery Fight

I have a question, I sold an account and the person reversed via paypal and as anyone would do I recovered the account. Well I gave them all correct information etc. It has been about a year since that and I been recovering the account over and over again the person who bought it doesn't use the accoount but checks back every month or so if pass is changed he recovers. Is there anyway I can stop him from recovering like contact Jagex or something. I'd really like to sell this account but not as it is as it isn't secure.

    Thanks for your time :)

A good way would be too put a credit card on it making it members, gives you a transaction ID + you know the last 4 numbers of the credit card, so it'll be easier to recover it etc. Also, an account which is members is harder to recover, as basically recovering a members account is theft, so yeah.

Try putting a card on it :p

yeah agreed, make it membs and when you recover it and wtv, in the comments, tell them someone gained access and is messing around, and that hes NOT from the IP you created the rs account on, or played the most from

Contact Jagex, Say you're original owner, say they can check IP, ISP, Etc. Say your Computer was Ratted, and the hacker got ahold of the information as you had it saved in a notepad file.

Hope it works out mate, good luck ;)

Yea, I don't see how JaGeX doesn't notice that, then.

I think they have an email address meant for these kinda situations, try and email them explaining that your the original owner and that the person recovering is not allowing you to enjoy the game and bullshit like that.

And thank you :D I had like 2,004 posts yesterday but somebody thought they were gunna be cool and take some away from me >.>

i've had this problem before. change as many details as possible, and try contacting jagex via the forums. of course they almost never reply to your posts, but its worth a shot if the account really matters to you.

    not true^^

jagex forums are pretty sketch, i can't imagine them reading very much of it all, especially a thread called "JAGEX HELP SOMEONE KEEPS HACKING ME" :p

but how in gods name do you go about hacking someone with their IP =/

well, you start by running a port scanner on their IP address to find open ports, and determine what OS they are running.
