your opinion on the ps3

so i am considering a ps3. i have some questions.the tv i have in my room is old and does not have the av cable input jack. i used my old ps1 cable to connect my ps2 to my t.v so i could plAY IT IN MY ROOM(im saving up for a new one) will i be able to do this with the ps3 also?i have seen someone selling a ps3 on craigslist for about 175$(new 160gb uncharted 2 bundle) is it worth the money? some of the exsclusives for it look fun. i need opinions thanks. and does it have built in wifi?
