Multiple bots with rsbots.net?

Ok so I've been wanting to run multiple bots to bot several accounts at a time. I would like to (at some point) get to about 4-5 bots running at a time but when I use 2 bots, most of the time the client is very laggy and takes a long time to click certain things and do the specific bot tasks ALTHOUGH while this is happening my computer itself is running completely fine.

My question is, is there a way to run multiple bots with this minimal lag I'm getting atm when 4-5 bots are running? Is there a way to dedicate 2 gb of my 4 gb of memory or so to the client itself?

Also, I've tried setting the priority of the client to high in the task manager but there is no change in lag with the client and my computer itself then starts to ALSO lag.

Any help please?

 

I also used to have this problem with my old laptop, I bought a desktop and can now run quite a lot of bots. To be honest maybe you just need a better processor or graphics card?

lol problem is, my processor and graphics card are high-end. My graphics card can run crysis full blast.

Processor is an Intel Core 2 Duo
Graphics card is a Nvidia Geforce 8800M GTS

Well then would you like to ask a mod to move the thread to the proper forum because, if I'm not mistaken, this is an problem that spans all bot clients and I am in the RSBot General Discussion. It's not like it's hurting you or as if this problem couldn't happen with rsbot.org's client. Thanks.

i am running 3 right now. Maybe you need more ram?

edit. the only problem i get is the clients always not respond.

 

Use a VPS? Don't know if this would work but try using one signed and the other unsigned?

 

Sorry, but should this not be in the tech support section? It's a question to do with the desktop itself and why it's lagging when so many clients are open, it's not directly linked with RSBot.

Anyway, open 2/3 clients, open task manager and tell me what percentage of physical memory is being used.

 

Actually (if you would have read ALL of my posts) I said that my computer didn't lag and that it was the client itself so it is linked with rsbot itself

Close the paints when running bots, look on the rsbots.net forums and read the stickies for each bot you have (some have "best set up" guides) and you can also mess around with the global settings. Dropping the first two to 0 helps.

Edit: Always run bot in low ram. Its just more effective for some reason, also less client lag.

 

Click the little java icon in the bottom right hand corner, choose open control panel, click on java. Double click the white box in the last column and type -xmx1000m.

 

Dont run them together, make different clients.

 

Had the exact same problem. Did exactly what kalipop said. No more lag, thanks man. Just open up a new client for each bot.

 

You should get a better PC Card, also try and run on lowest detail with ur pc etc.

 

His computer can handle it if you read all of it. Thats not the issue, its the client all he needs to do is run multiple clients instead of running multiple bots on one client.
