To be honest I think you should just be upfront and get what is yours back. No use being angry about it, chances are they use drugs, are very poor or have fucked up backgrounds if not the whole lot. My house used to get robbed a lot and I never got my shit back, just be happy you get it back!

 

Serve 100 hours of community service and a heavy fine, in my opinion. Thieves do not deserve pity, unless they were trying to do something noble with the cash. They weren't.
I'd normally suggest jail, but as they were minors, I doubt they'd get jail time.

 

Psshh like you have the choice in what to claim, the will most likely get comunity service don't push your luck trying to get allot of money out of it, you should be happy you got something back after all.

I'd try to get something on their criminal records, but then again what's the point? They aren't going to be successful in life anyway.

 

Get the guy trying to act hard in a Disneyland hat sent to juvy and the rock climber 200 hours of community service.

 

If they don't learn their lessons now then they never will and this will just continue to happen all over again. So i'd say press charges and say they need juvy time. Sure they didn't get away with a lot of money, but imagine they succeeded in buying shit worth thousands of dollars. How would you feel then? It could have easily happened and they did ATTEMPT to do it. Fucking throw the max penalty at them.

 

They'll get 24-36 hours of community service and 6 months probation.

Community service is EASILY faked, I helped my brother do it..

So if you really want to make them pay don't do that. Make them pay out the ass or go to juvie. Lawl.
