Favourite video game ever?

Im not really a gamer but I like GTA

 

Obviously Cod4.. It took gaming to a whole new level, it also took youtube to a new level.

 

Jet Set Radio, Dreamcast.
A Link to the Past, SNES.

 

COD 4. Havent tried out MW2 but I've always enjoyed COD.

Battlefield 1942, Counter strike source, Half life 2 episodes 1 and 2

Those were the best games for me and still are.
All those new games sucks because they are made for PC,PS3,XBOX360 which limits the abilities alot.
All games only made for pc were so much more fun.
Battlefield 1942 for example.. Those maps were huge and all those vehicles were just insane.
You dont see this anymore in those new Console-based games.
I hope battlefield 3 makes it all good again.

 

Legend of Zelda Ocarina of time. Super Smash bros. GTA. MW2. and Super Mario 64

 

Which year do you live in? Battlefield Bad Company 2 is out and it's insane. I actually used an RPG in a FPS game for the first time.

And I do hate consoles. The controls are bullshit. Keyboard and mouse all the way.

 

I have bad company 2 and its not even close to what it was in bf1942...
Those maps are way too small for a battlefield game, if you played all battlefield games ( Except the bad company 1 console shit) then you know what I mean.
BC2 is cool but its not as cool as the whole battlefield series a few years ago.

 

Sounds like you're used to the old ways. I know the classic days were great, but life must go on. Personally, I don't have any trouble with the new games. I am starting to hate games like COD now, which are basically the same shit all over again. Did you try Mass Effect?

 

I dont have any trouble with the new games either, I am just saying that I liked the old games more then those new shit which are all made for console and then ported over to PC.(not all of them are but BC2 for example is one of them)
By doing this the games get very limited in amount of players, size of map, detail of map,...

I havent tried Mass effect yet but this game looks very good to me actually.
But I cant rate it when I havent played it yet.

BTW I am also starting to hate Those call of duty games.
The Cod serie is good but its just some game were you have little to no teamplay. Its full of kids yelling through there mics and what not.
I remember playing Counter strike source in a map full of strangers communicating and really trying to get the team win.
Nobody knows eachother but you can still work together.
This is something you rarely see in mw2.

But yeah if there is a new game out which I seem to like, I buy it.

 

My favorite games of all time would have to be any Mario game and Tony Hawk. I love the classics! I wish I had the opportunity to play these games more. I am a little more focused on the new stuff now!
