Montage edited for a contest

So this Machinima director is holding an editing contest and this is what I entered, note that it isn't me playing. This is the first time I have ever edited a montage so be nice these are the only clips that were given, so whatever if they aren't "the best".



It looks way better if you view it on YouTube because Sythe doesn't embed a 16:9 player so everything gets squeezed in, if you didn't understand any of that just go watch it on youtube

To be completely honest, you're not going to win, but for a first time, this was very good. Alot better than some repeating makers of them.

 

Not a great job editing, it was good, not great. Try not to zoom so much, it takes away from the actual focus of the montage.​

 

I thought it was very entertaining and you picked a very good song. Nicely done for a first time.

decent editing, but it wasn't amazing.

Good thing it wasn't OVER edited though.

 

Yeah, you dont want to over edit it.. after a while though it seemed like the editing was getting a little repetitive.

Pretty cool for your first montage. It's overedited a tiny bit at certain spots, but the editing is by no means bad. I didn't really like the slow motion near the end. Seemed out of place, but other than that it's really good for your first montage.
