Stretched Ears (Gauged Ears, to the uneducated.)

How many of you out there have stretched ears? or how many plan to stretch, or have given the idea some thought?

I have my ears stretched to a 0g, and I'm personally liking it so far. I plan on going to 1/2", but you never know, I might get that feeling like "Oh, it's not big enough," and stretch farther.

It isn't permanent? If you stretch them correctly, they almost close up completely. They usually close up to the point where it's like a regular piercing, but it all depends on the individual in question. If you stretch incorrectly and recklessly, then yes, it would be permanent. And stretching your ears means you're "emo?" Emo means emotional, it isn't a style. Arrogance irritates me.

Get over yourself. You're stretching out your ears because you like it when people look at you funny, not because you're expressing yourself. You're only doing it for attention. In all honesty, it's dumb with absolutely no purpose.

 

On the contrary, I fucking hate when people stare. Pisses me off. I'm stretching my ears because I like it.

Yeah, a lot of parents would be in disagreement with it. They see it as something like a tattoo, permanent. But little do they know, it's not.

Most people do shit to fit in with a crowd because they need the attention. I believe people that do that want attention. When i got my snake bites i just thought of the attention i would get and I did like the look however.

 

Yeah, I used to have snake bites too. Got them because I really liked the look of them. Took them out and let them close up though. Had to go job hunting. No success though.

 

There is no way to reverse this process is there?

 

It's just like a piercing, just take the plug out and let the hole close up. Though, with stretched ears, the closing up process can take awhile, depending on the person. One persons ears may close in a month, and it might take a different persons a year.

 

It's a little radical for me like nose piercing and lip piercing, it's just a little too much!
