Inexperienced WoW Help.

Okay, so I haven't played WoW since November, and I just bought a subscription for my birthday. Now, I am a level 24 rogue, and I was wondering, what are the fastest ways to level, at my level.

Since I'm a rogue, I was thinking grinding, but other people are telling me instances, and others are telling me questing.

Right now as the game is re-downloading (new laptop), I am thinking whether or not I should join a guild and have the members basically do all my quests for me, and i turn them in, or if I should have them run me through instances and what not. What are your opinions?

 

It's matter how you want to play yourself. If you enjoy leveling your own way, having no rush to the last levels then play how you feel you're entertained.

Questing always has been and always will be the most time effective way to level. Random instances can be great if you pick up a quest that can be completed inside the instance though, as they usually grant a LOT of XP and give you some nice gear upgrades.

 

This is true, what I did was quest while queuing up for random dungeons, since you rolled a dps class, you will find that you will have much time to go about doing one or two quests until a queue pops up.

 

And how do I do so in getting in to a que for dungeons, and by dungeons, do you mean instances such as Deadmines, and Stocks.

 

Correct, on your micro bar (with your character,achievements, etc) you will see a green eye. Click that and then click to queue for a random dungeon, not only is it good experience, you get nice rewards at the end of completing the whole instance.

 

I would que as dps for dungeons and quest while waiting. Seems to be the best exp / money.

 

Last time I checked, dungeons aren't very rewarding for (money) when you're level 27.

 

Well, they are. You can sell the items you get in the bag from doing a random dungeon and make a little money. It's more than you'd have if you didn't do them.

 

I have 637 gold from stealing stuff from guild banks.
