Hello, welcome to my first Pure guide. This guide wil give you the best tips and tricks to make a 100% pure.




What is a pure? A pure is a runescape char that has a very low defence level with very high combat stats besides defence. Having low defence allows a pure to be low combat with very high: Strength/Attack/Ranged/Magic/Hitpoints/(52 Prayer)/(Summoning).



What type of pure do you want to be?
Ranged Pure
DDS Pure
Gmaul Pure
Magic Pure
Str Pure


Okay, now for the guide.


After creating your account, along with doing the tutorial
you are a member and you only have your start gear.


Before you train combat stats, I highly recommend getting some cash... How will you do this? Well simply. Head over to lumbridge and do the quest Rune Mysteries.

1 Novice Short
1 Quest Point
The ability to use the Runecrafting skill
Access to the rune essence mine
1 Air Talisman
This quest is fairly easy and it will be a good start. After completing this quest walk to lumbridge, climb up the ladder on the spot shown in the Picture:
Now pick up the bronze Pickaxe then run to varrock and talk go to aubury and right click "teleport". This will now take you to the rune essence mine. He will then say a weird message, and you will be teleported to the essence mine.

Below is what the essence mine looks like.
Now mine those big rock things and you will get rune essence.
This can easily be botted. Download rsbot and set setting etc, run script and look for ESS MINER.

Bot this for about 3 days to 1 week. At first you will get slow money... But once you get 30 mining it will start to get better and faster. ( dont forget as you advance levels you can go to the g.e and buy several other pickaxes)

Now you have around 1milion gp, and you have no combat stats. Well this is okay, head over to the grand exchange and buy several trout.
Now go to edgeville and look for a house full of men, kill them. Kill these man till your level 20 combat. But this is part of deciding your pure. I recommend training Str and Ranged on them, so if your going to be a str pure or a melee pure train on these, along with range. Just get the stats you want at men till your level 20 basicaly.

Now you have more money from killing men, and you have 20 combat.

Time to take a break off of killing men and head over to camelot. To begin Construction, players must buy a house by paying one of the many Estate Agents found in cities all over RuneScape. A basic house will cost 1000 coins, and will be in Rimmington by default. As a player advances in construction, more house locations will be made available as well as house styles. To change either of these, it is required to speak to the Estate Agent again.

Buy a house and go to it, get 40 construction, buy a butler from ardougne and now buy 1k soft clay, 1k law runes, and 1k fire runes... But before doing this, get 25 magic.

Now make a lancern/study room and make varrock teleport tabs. Thier is a bot for this. Freaky AIO TabMaker.

Now you have over 3m!

Time to go in deep training.

1-20 combat (training the pure skills you want) = Man
20- 50 combat (training the pure skills you want) = Rock Crabs
50-70 combat (training the pure skills you want) FleshCrawlers, Rock Crabs, Expirements, Al-Khraid Warriors
70+ combat (training the pure skills you want) Slayer Monster, Rock Crabs, expriments, Green drags, baby blue drags.










Man: Located in edgeville.

Rock crabs: These crabs can be found in the city North of Rellekka, west of the entrance to keldagrim east and west of the town on the beach (may be overcrowded) Alot of people train there.

Flesh Crawlers: level 2 of the Stronghold of Security. They are considered good training for players with combat levels of 35-60+. I recommend 50 combat!

Expirments: These monsters have 100 hp, making it a total of 400 xp per kill, very good training but is required to do a quest (priest in peril) and to have atleast started the creature of fennkenstrain quest, they are only level 25 and they only hit 1s, alot of pures / mains train here too. I recommend killing the level 51, the sheep/dog things hit often.

Al-kharid Warriors: In the town of Al-Kharid, they are found in a huge 1 story castle like place. These are very agressive and attaking one of them will lead to 3 of them attacking you. But it's good exp and money. About 200k gp an hour.

Slayer Monsters: Only slayer monster I recommend training on a pure is Banshees, you need 15 slayer and must wear a black mask or ear muffs to be immune to their screeching scream.

Green Dragons: Range only, they hit to often. They are very dangerous to train on because hey are in the wild, level 20-25. This means several other monsters in the wild can attack you, such as the reveant Ghost. Those Ghost can Freeze, and use melee or mage. They max up to 35 and range from the combat level of 7-157.


Training Strength: Flesh Crawlers, Rock Crabs, Experiments, Al-kharid Warriors

Training Ranged: Rock Crabs, Green Dragons

Training Magic: Air strike till 5 mage. Enchant sapphire Necklaces till you can use CURSE. Use curse till 55 mage. 55 mage+ ALCH

Complete Death Plateau - This should raise your attack level to 43. More importantly, you receive the ability to buy and wear Climbing boots. Climbing boots add +2 strength bonus, and are VERY important to pking as a pure. - guide http://www.zybez.net/quests.php?id=8

Complete Fight Arena - This should raise your attack level to 45. *you have now completed all the quests that give you attack experience, you can now decided weather to get 60 or 50, its your choice!* - guide http://www.zybez.net/quests.php?id=20


Complete Priest in Peril - This should boost your Prayer to 11 (1,406 XP if you've completed The Restless Ghost, you'll be at level 15) - guide http://www.zybez.net/quests.php?id=39

Complete Mountain Daughter -This will boost your Prayer to 22 (if you've completed The Restless Ghost, you'll be at level 23)
*This quest also gives you a boost of 1k attack exp* - guide http://www.zybez.net/quests.php?id=69*after this there are more prayer quests, but its best to stop here, if you want you can get your prayer to either of these 3 key levels, 31, 44 or 52.*

Lost City - [All pures] - The ability to wield dragon weapons, basicly the doorway to d weps lol. its a must needed if your gettin 60 attack. - guide http://www.zybez.net/quests.php?id=32

horror from the deep - reward is prayer books, you are brest off choosing zamorak however it costs roughly 1mill ti buy the pages so you might want go with guthix. - guide http://www.zybez.net/quests.php?id=27

Desert Treasure - HIGHLY recommended, allows access to ancient magick spells, ice, shadow, smoke, blood and miasmic. & grants acess to the use of ghostly robes, which are key items to pure pking. - guide http://www.zybez.net/quests.php?id=82

Recipe for Disaster


recipe for disaster gloves are a MUST on a pure, they give off bonus's that normal gloves just cant, help you hit high and more accurate,
without them pures wouldnt hit as high as they do nowdays, unless they used faggot bracelets. the highest rank gloves a pure can get with 1 defence is adamant, for 20 def pures they can get rune, and as far as i know the lowest defence possible with barrows is 33.
in order to obtain these gloves you have to do certain quests which unlocks then one by one, and their are certain quests you cannot do without raising your defence. i will list the certain sub quests you can do, and the ones you must avoid.

After you have good quest, money and combat skills time to pk. ( Pking for money is not recommended Just for fun!

Pking has always been the number one reason behind making pures, but since then people have made so many achievments within skills, pking is based on your skill and levels, you use them wisely to overcome your opponent, with brutal strength, high magic and epic range, a combination of these skills can be very affective, but also on their own can do just as well. the point of pking in the old days was orignally to have fun while making money - pking as a pure used to be such a good money maker, killing mains, they wouldnt know what was coming to them with your big hits, thinking your a total noob in monks robes ect. then you pulling out your dragon dagger and hitting a 28-28 with dds, which was relativly a big hit back then. nowdays people know whats cmoing most of the time, there are alot of pures now, and pking is still fun, not nowhere as proffitable as it used to be. pking comes in many different styles, such as hybriding, solo mage, range and melee pking, comboing, each style has good and bad sides to it, but experimenting with them all - you will find what you like the most, so dont be in a rush to decide what you want to do! everyone has the prefrence's, once you have the stats you have desired from questing and training - its time to pk (keep this in mind, you will not be invincible, EVERYONE Dies, even the most famous of pkers die, if you die, hold your head up high, and carry on pking! remember you are doing this all for fun!)

Hybrid Pure setup: Gear:
Hat - provides magic bonus.
Ghostly robes - provides magic bonus. (can be replaced with zamorak robes)
Amulet of glory - magic + range + strength bonus. (can be replaced with power ammy / strength ammy.)
god cape - provides magic bonus (can be replaced with accumilator)
Karils x-bow - fast and accurate (can be replaced with magic short / crossbow)
bolt racks - ammo for the bow. (can be replaced with bolt / rune arrows depending on what you are using.)
Climbing boots - +2 strength bonus.
Adamant gloves - all round bonus's.

Ivent:
Dds - used for combo's
Runes - Barrage for blitz runes depending on your magic level, used to stop your opponent from running. (can be replaced with normal magicks and use entangle and teleblock)
Super attack and strength and ranging potion - boost your hits higher.
prayer potion - keeps your prayer up.
Sharks - eat when low hp

This style of pking can be very affective on your opponent, but having low ranged can be a downside to it, since range plays an important role when hybriding.

Melee Setup:
Gear:
iron helm and plate, decent defence bonus.(can be replaced with monk robe top).
black d hide chaps - good defenc bonus (can replace with monk robe bottoms).
Strength amulet - 10 + strength bonus.
Zamorak book - + 8 to all attack bonus's.
team cape - 1 click on higher levels.
dragon scimitar - main weapon its fast and strong.
climbing boots - +2 strength bonus.

Invent:
Super att and str - higher hits.
prayer potion - keeps prayer up.
dds - pull out for the ko.
sharks - eat when low health.

a melee pker can be very affective, using the right weapons and the right stats, you can dominate most range pures your level.


Range Setup
ear:
coif - range bonus
leather top - range bonus
d hide chaps - range bonus
adamant gloves - bonus (can bereplaced with vambrace's)
magic short bow - fast and hits high (can be replaced with karils bow)
team cape - lets u hit higher lvls with 1 click (can be replaced with avs accumilator)
climbing boots - defence bonus.
amulet of glory - provides good range bonus (can be replaced with amulet of power).

Invent:
ranging potion - boosts hit
prayer potion - keeps prayer up
rune c bow with dragon bolts - secondary weapon, chance of hitting very high.
sharks - eat at low hp!

this type of pker can be affective due to range being rapid, hitting contantly high, can be very affective and make your opponent run out of food quiet quickly. and dragon bolts with rune crossbow can hit up to 62 if you are 99 ranged.


Mage setup
Gear:
ghostly robes - good magic bonus
ancient staff - good magic bonus and autocast's ancient magick's
zamorak book - 8+ magic bonus
amulet of glory - magcc bonus
climbing boots - defence bonus
adamant gloves - magic bonus
Invent:
Prayer potions - keep your prayer up
multiple barrage / blitz runes.
shark - eat at low health.

this pure is one of the least comman, they arent seen much, but can be very affective while clan / team pking, if you where to be a level 52 with ice barrage that would dominate in low level team pking. i do however reccomend you not making this type of pure - it can be quiet costly.



Pking Lessons.

When your Pking players might start to call you a "SAFER"...Why? Well a "safer" is when an player is eating when not needed. For instants (ex): I'm 990 Hitpoints, a player is weilding a Dragon Scimitar, he hits a 300, I eat to FULL hp...

To avoid safing follow the HP code of conduct below.
300-hp... Eat at 160
500-hp... Eat at 260
700-hp... Eat at 370
800-hp... Eat at 460
900+... Eat at 470-540

This Requires commen sense of course...

l2pk: Learn to player kill (PK). You will also get called this if your "farcasting", safing, or running from DM's. ETC

FC: Farcasting. Using Ancient Magic that freezes your 'foe' while he is using melee combat style which now he/she cannot attack you because you are at a distance freezing him.

DM: Deathmatch. No runnning from a fight

NH: No honor.. Just cruel. Safe, FC, Run from DM, all the above pretty much.

Honor: Respect.

well a pure doesnt have to have a low defence level. There are defence pures and zerker pures with 45 defence.
