    Argentina is not playing well because of Maradona, they will not go far. France almost missed the world cup too.

    I'd love to see that. I honestly think Portugal could pull an upset there, but I highly doubt this would happen. England's team, hopefully, have improved and won't let any mistakes past them.

    Argentina will play well, because Maradona has experience in the World Cup and will base his coaching on the way he played. Messi will continue to shine and Argentina will make it very far this year.

    Are you just saying this because USA is underrated or how so?

    Im not to sure about Argentina they have left out Cambiasso,Zanetti and fernando gago out who in my opinion are 3 top class players. They also decided to include juan sebastian veron who is now 35 years old.

    Although saying that they have got alot of world class stirkers and of course messi

    That's not really making them underrated. USA had that horrible friendly match a few days ago against Czech Republic and lost 4-2. Although 7 of their 11 starters didn't start, they still should have done a lot better.

    But again, USA is just one of those unpredictable teams.

    England will never win. After like 10+ world cups they haven't won, because in comparison to the GOOD football teams, they suck. Italy won last year and that's obviously who I'm rooting for :p I'm english... half italian and the only reason I don't/won't support England because let's be honest, they are pretty much an embarrasment to us in the world cup. :p Oh yeah, and fuck France!

    I have faith in England this year, and I hope they don't give up after they get scored on this year. I think it'll be a good season for them. England is one of the more favored teams to win this year, aside Brazil and Spain.

    Yes, they also had a 2-0 lead on Brazil at halftime in the Confederation's Cup. The United States can play well, but as said earlier, they're unpredictable.

    Their squad isn't looking too bad this year and they're very favored to win the Cup. I'm rooting for England atm, but I don't see that happening, because USA or some other team could pull an upset.

    And they played VERY poorly against their friendly today with Japan. 2-1..
    and the 2 goals they had were own goals. They had the worst first half ever and if the keep playing like that, they won't go anywhere far.

    On paper, Spain would win hands down, but then again football is not played on paper.

    Don't think for a second England stands a chance of winning, just take a look at their history.

    Oh and it's interesting to point out that this is probably going to be one of the best world cups in quite a while as all of the major teams are in it this time around. Might have been nice to see Egypt in there, but otherwise the teams are all strong.
