Well you all know about the Personal Support & Assistance forum that we all love very much :D

I think we should add into the rules that people are not to talk about others' problems out of that forum. I've seen some really mean and hurtful posts made in the spam forum about others' problems. Don't ask me to find any for you, because at the rate people post new threads/posts in the spam forum, it would be buried.

While this seems obvious, people are still doing it.

On another note, I also think one of you should edit the first post of the Faces of Sythe (Commentary Allowed Oncemore) sticky in the General Discussion / Off Topic section to add in people are not allowed to make fun of others.

I've seen people in the spam forum making fun of wombakage because he posted that image of his semi-formal cat party. It is irritating and immature.

Tell me what you guys think.

Totally support but people shouldn't actually be hurt by anything said on sythe, to be honest.

Womba is a good sport, as well.

If Womba stopped being a bitch, then maybe. I do agree that we should stop making fun of people though.

Agreed, whats in the S&A Stays in the S&A.

I have seen a few things that would make me pretty upset if they were said about me.

I support, many people would be afraid to post problems because of this.

I also support this. What stays in the S&A forum, should stay in the S&A forum.

Also, those of a higher rank or importance may feel that posting anything a little too personal in the S&A forum will tarnish their reputation, or that people would lose some respect for them.

Although I completly support the idea/need behind this section, I also throw caution toward the members who select to offer advice. People I have a great deal of experience in dealing with soldiers/war-torn populations that have considerable stress and I would be the first to refrain from giving an opinion. Why? I lack the education and I lack the desire to be held accountable for giving an opinion that could cause serious harm.

As per the subject of the post, I feel there should be a time-out and review of the section as a whole. Are we really prepared to allow Sythe members to post advice which could have dangerous impacts? Tell me if I'm wrong but has Sythe "Official" allowed a section for untrained feedback? If the section remains, it is my opinion there should be "Advanced" site management ideas to one protect the individual from revealing his real Sythe account to members and also steps to insure we have a solid plan in place to protect a member from poor advice. What is the "Real" action plan when a post reveals a serious issue? Be warned it will happen and I would not want to be the one attempting to figure it out as the clock ticks. Everywhere you look today we see young adults experiencing increased problems that we must admit we are not trained to comment on. I myself have stayed away from this area as I feel this is a ticking timebomb.. It is only a matter of time before this section will receive the attention of an example. Please consider this section is in need of attention/thought.

Anonymous posting is another thing I'd like to see. I knew I forgot something. Thanks Spyike.
