Is grindcore considered metal? =]

 

Damn, I cannot believe no one mentioned fucking Pantera seeing as how their one of the best metal bands out there. I don't agree with the whole thing about slipknot not being a metal band because the way I see it they are one of the most metal bands out there and you scrutinize them because they have versatility but, whatever. I personally hate Bullet for my Valentine but they are metal as well, but again, whatever.

What do you mean slipknot is "one of the most metal bands out there"? I don't like slipknot because they 1) Don't sound that good. and 2) Ever ask someone if they like metal? they either say no, or if they think they're hardcore "yes slipknot rulez!!1!!".
