General FPS / Latency?

Lately I've had bad latency and good fps? lol.. I was wondering what the average of everyone's was?

 

My comp is shit, I had good latency 14 fps around here and there and like 0.0001 fps in dalaran.

Not sure exactly on latency.

 

Usually around 200-300ms latency and around 30fps when I'm just idle in Dalaran... drops to 10-15fps in 10 man raids and can dip to like 2fps in 25 man ICC :\

 

eh, depends on the realm and area.

on shadowmoon about 100-150MS and depending on area, 30-200fps. 30 in 25-player raids w/ shadows and particles maxed, mid-70s in northrend (view distance max. and 100+ in all vanilla areas.)

 

Funny because max in WoW is 60 fps

I usually get 60 all the time, but my latency always is flowing. Depends on your vid cards/internet connction. No big deal as long as it runs smooth.

Anyways, 90MS and around 60fps idling in dal, around 40 fps in 10 man raids.

 

at argent tourment grounds (and i usually lag there a bit)

Hmm, I've dealt with crappy fps and latency so I'm used to having around 250-300 in 25 ICC and around 10-20 fps in major cities. If I am in a non-populated place it is around 30 though.

Just remember that latency is your internet and fps is your computer. So you can have an awesome computer with crazy fps and a crappy internet with high latency.

 

There is a nice tool for fixing high ping...
It changed my ping from 100-200 to 60-80 average.

Maybe put "Vertical Sync" off? because that sets the max FPS equal to the max your screen can show.

 

60 flat fps (If I wanted, I could get more, but I keep V-Sync on).
15- constant ping.

 

Ive done some tweaking and turned off vert sync and got around 160+ fps and 100 lat. I feel much better now.

 

My latency is usually 100-300 and FPS stays fairly good (50-60 range).

 

Gosh, hate the fact that people use "GearScore", such a shitty AddOn.

 

That's called vertical sync. Derp.



Discrepancy in the two FPS indicators because I held my mouse over the micro menu for a bit.
