Alright well I told him I didn't want to put my user and password into the program with his code just into the runescape screen but then he told me to put it on the program, evidentally trying to steal my account information, even after we went over this many times before trading.

If you're talking about the rsbots.net program then there's nothing to worry about. You logged off after receiving the auth code so it appears you have scammed him.

Sorry it wouldn't let me reply to the thread I posted. Its just down there a bit.

Yes it was downloaded from rsbots.net but I wanted to put my password into the runescape screen that appeared like on rsbot.org/vb where I signed on myself. I thought this would take my password because there was popped up in the program.

What do you mean? The Runescape screen that appeared on the rsbots.net bot? If so, that is perfectly safe...

If you did think that he was trying to steal your pass, then why did you not report him? You simply took off with his auth.

I went to update my recovery information on my account and then I guess I forgot. I wasn't too worried since I didn't put anything in but incase it was a virus I ran a Norton check but nothing was wrong.

And no it wasn't the runescape screen on the program there was a box that appeared and asked for my username and password, I didn't want to put it in there I asked him.

Meh, whatever the case may be you still left when the auth was given. Please repay back Pillows (http://www.sythe.org/showthread.php?t=832286) and make a new dispute once you have (take screenshots of you paying him the $6 or have him PM me, tell me on msn, etc...).

Alright I guess I see where it seems weird that I freaked but I just take my account a little seriously (probably shouldn't be botting anyways). Thanks for your help settling that he wasn't trying to take my account. The bot doesn't even work now it just says Key Error 167x.. kind of a rip of but whatever I should just stick to rsbot.org bots I understand them and trust them since I'm not entering a code. If ever I need to do something on sythe I guess I'll pay him but I just still wasn't too sure.

    Thanks again for your help.

In the future...? If you ever want a chance at an unban you best repay him back as soon as possible.

Well the code doesn't even work anymore so I don't see a reason to pay him now unless he decides to fix this problem, assuming that hes not trying to take my username and password anymore.

What problem? He was never trying to take your password in the first place.

You took off with his code, so you will only be unbanned if you pay the $6 that you owe him or compensate in some other way (talk to him on msn).

I ment since you told me its not a scam I tried to re-open the soul wars program and it doesn't even work, says its disabled. So obviously unless he gives me a new working code I won't pay him cuz' now he's scamming me. I got pictures if needed I can upload.

Whether or not the auth code is disabled now is irrelevant. We have no way to tell if it was working when it was given to you, but that you left as soon as you got the code, so I'll have to assume that it did work.

You will not get unbanned unless you pay the $6, or compensate in some other way to the victim.

Yeah it opened the first time I didn't see the runescape screen but it asked for my password, now I tried going back on the program yesterday and it wouldnt even let me open it, just saying if I pay him will I atleast get one that works? I did some researching on the error code that it was giving me and it says its a result of sharing auth codes as said on the forum on the website here http://www.rsbots.net/forums/index.php?topic=42014.0

You already got the auth code. It being disabled now is your responsibility as you should have been aware of the risks of auth trading.
