How to make your own cursor! (ArtCursors)

    .: ntro :.

Hello there sythe, welcome to my fourth guide, they keep coming! I'm currently working on my application to become a UE, but even after that I will keep writting guides!

With this guide, I'm gonna teach you how to make your very own cursor!

    .: [T]he [G]uide :.

First of all, we will need ArtCursors.

Go through the installation process, and select the following:

(recommended, you can eventually also do 48x48)
Continue, normally a new cursor tab comes up, but if it doesn't, this:

Unless you decide to paint one yourself, we'll need an image now! For example, I chose Dragon Claws. I got them from this picture:

Then, do Print Screen or PrtSc/SysRq, and go to paint. When you're in paint, paste it. (ctr+v)

Crop till you only have the claws left.
Now, zoom in 8x. When done that, fill it all with white paint. In the beginning, it will be as in this picture:

But the end result should look like this:

Okay, ready? Well done! Now get back to ArtCursors, and select File > Open...

Open your image, and select the erraser. When the erraser is too big, simply select a smaller one.

Now erase all with fields. This will require patience. At the end, you'll have something like in the picture.

Now, save the file as example.cur.

Here is WHERE to save it:

Alright, close ArtCursors now and go your control pannel and click on [IMG].
When you've done that, select the cursors tab, browse, select your selfmade cursor and your done! Enjoy!

    .: [O]utro :.

I spent a bit more time on this guide than on my others. I tried getting more pictures this time, because it's a bit more complicated than my previous ones.
Hope you liked it, and comment/rate/suggest/thank!
