Fastest 99 - Fletching or Cooking?

Hi sythe, I know that there is many threads asking for the fastest 99 skill, but im asking for this: 66-99 fletching or 65-99 cooking, what should I do? I dont want to put more than 2M cash into this, since my pure only have ~ 4M. How should I do, how long, and wich one is fastest? Tell me HOW I should do it fast also!

4m! Hah, not happening, get 15m, and maybe.

 

Its possible, since some ways of fletching is profitable, and if I buy lets say 1k logs a time then sell repeat and so it might work. Same with cooking, on big guides it says some ways costs ~ 2M. If I dont buy everything at the same time, it will work.

 

Cooking is the fastest hands down.

To get it the fastest its much more than 2m sorry. Try and spend around 6m

Im gonna do tunas if so, to 92, then monkfish 92-99. Its ~ 110k fish cooked = 110 hours. Not alot+You lose 4gp per tuna and you need to cook 60k of them = 240k loss by tunas, then 14 per on monkfish and you need to cook 50 of them=700k loss. Total ~ 1M depending on prices.

I will not get cooking gauntles I think, but idk.

 

Cooking, definitely. But cooking needs more clicks than fletching. You need to run to the bank, then to the stove. Ideally, I'd suggest lobsters till 85 then sharks till 95 and monks till 99. But since you're short on cash, then tunas till 85, swordfish till 99. It'll take a long longer, but meh.

 

That will lose me too much, I will do tunas to 85 maybe, then lobsters to 92, monkfish from 92-99. That will lose me a bit more than what I posted above, but will be faster. 28k tuna to 85 cooking, 28k lobster to 92 cooking, 50k monkfish to 99. Will cost me 1,5-2M.

Edit: The difference is about 5-10k to cook? Not worth it. Id better go with tunas to 92, monk to 99.

 

Get cooking gauntlets.
Tuna until 68 Cooking.
Lobsters until 81.
Swordfish until 90.
Monkfish until 94.
Sharks until 95/99.
Rocktail until 99.

I did sharks until 95 and then rocktail to 99, and I'm pretty sure I didn't lose more than 2m, although I can't remember and it was a while ago.

 

Cooking for sure. However people saying to do tuna obviously havn't heard of cooking sweetcorn. Its just as good but better value for money/xp and its about the same burning/stop rate.

 

I cannot afford that, I will just go with tuna to 90/92 then do monkfish to 99. Thanks anyway.

 

Neither are that useful. Do woodcutting on ivy - that's about 20 days @ 6 hrs a day.

 

Cooking would be better, but as you only have 4m i'd focus more on money making than stats. Try a money making skill perhaps?

 

I got my 99 fletching buy 3k yew bows and strings at a time, then selling them on world 24 at castle wars to the alchers. I ended up making around 10m 1-99

 

If you're buying and then cooking your food I'd recommend using fletching. (Faster)
If you're fishing/cooking your food then you wouldn't lose money. (Slower)

Both of those skills are only easy when you have a nice chunk of cash. The fastest would be cooking, you'd need to spend mils though.

 

Why would you cook monks to 99 and not sharks?

That's dumb, you make money off sharks and lose money on monks.

Also Shark is like 50xp more per fish.

And yes I think cooking is faster, I am going for 99 right now.
