Selling used pre-paid cards?

I have like 8 used pre-pai cards with 0-1$ on them. I was thinking about selling as i've seen a few people doing. My question is, is there anyways this can come back and bite me in the ass? I think i've pretty much only used them to buy bot auths, and maybe a few irl items.

Pre-paid cards? I'm not sure that anyone would buy $0-1 cards. Your best off checking all the card's balances (there's a toll-free number on the back of each card) and making sure all cards have at-least $1 on the card, and it might get sold for about $0.50 - $0.75 (paypal) per if you can find a buyer. Other than that, it should be okay. But like I said, check the balances on each card.

 

Explain to me what a pre-paid card is? I've seen membership cards, not too sure on what you're talking about though.

 

Gift cards. I'm assuming he's talking about pre-paid visa gift cards or something along those lines where you put an X amount on the card, and after the balance is off it's useless. I've had one before, it's kinda like a debit card but one-time use I believe unless they sell re-usable ones now.

 

There is a bit of a market for them, for more then 0.75 cents, people buy to lift there limitation on paypal. I was just wondering if someone else having the info could screw me over buy them getting the auth with the credit card or something.

 

PayPal has a new policy for the USA that says you have to have at least $2 USD on the card to be able to use it with PayPal accounts.

I suppose you could sell these card numbers to people, but they'd have to be unregistered online. The reason is because PayPal doesn't allow you to add a credit card to your account that doesn't have your name registered to it.

 

Damn, most don't have 2$ plus, but they are not registered, the type i have does not have to be registered

 

Then wouldn't it be logical to take the money off the cards through a bank then simply putting the money on a re-usable card? Just saying.
