Good thing he was banned, hopefully he was ip banned - i never got a reply from the admin who i pmed.

 

He has been banned on his other account for scamming before (king_fayt2) So I hope he was IP banned..

 

Pretending to be someone else online in order to scam people is also a punishable fraud (identity theft).

It can be reported online, but unless the impostor and victim are located in the same state/country, its not likely that there will be any punishments other than removal of the email that was used in this crime.

 

Just so you know that would never hold up in court (US court at least) because your selling stolen goods. Jagex owns all items in the game, and people wouldn't lie about who they were they would just claim fraud on paypal to recover their money which is perfectly legal especially since the goods you are selling are stolen.

 

The main problem here (imo) that this person was pretending a MM in order to gain money, in this case i was selling the goods so he would have only gained virtual money.

However if i had been the one buying virtual goods from this person for real money, it would have been diffrent becouse then he would have been scamming actual money which very serious and runescape part would have been irrelevant in court.

Lmao ya, he has been fooling around trying to scam people recently. Gl doing business.

 

Yup he event asked if the person who he scammed disk from wanted to buy that disk back, scammers now days <_<

Incase you never really knew, we are NOT selling stolen goods. We are simply selling OUR TIME it took to obtain these goods. =).
