People Banning Other People

Just found a new one that people are doing to ban a player on RS. It just happened to me and I got a 10 day ban for nothing and RS won't listen to my appeal, even though there is no evidence and they wont show me any.

Here's the deal, whether they admit it or not, RS looks at forums and business websites for incriminating evidence. A friend went to a Real World Trading website and entered a testimonial using my RS players name (one that he uses). The day it showed up on their website I received a ten day ban for Real world Trading.

I spent two days trying to figure out how they could make a mistake like that. I didn't believe it was possible to get banned like this until I saw it all with my own eyes. My buddy told me about using my name and when I visited the testimonial page the date of the post was the exact date of my ban. I am still in shock!

At least is only ten days!

By that logic I could say I was zezima and get him banned.

 

Not entirely, think about it. This is Jagex you're dealing with, some topics like RWT/Macro are far more plausible for them to pull a BS ban with.

Believe what you would like. Personally I am not concerned with what anyone thinks about this. I want to share what I feel is an injustice. With all the scammers and lairs out there I completely understand skepticism and respect the fact that some will not believe it... That is to be expected on any forum of this nature.

In reality I hope I am wrong, but I can't make any other conclusions except this, based on the information that I have.

 

It's easy enough to test. Why doesn't someone take one of their accounts. Post up on one the the websites testimonials using their name from the game and see what happens. If they don't get a ban then we can call it all a huge coincidence and disprove what I believe happened.

Yeah thats what im thinking. You could take a screen shot on google post it on Blk market say alot of bullshit and the guy would get banned? That would be ridiculous.

JaGeX wouldnt do this, they are smarter then that amazingly.

 

that's when the infraction is removed from the account. not the ban.

 

I actually believe this, I've had a strange experience being banned. On 9/9/09, bug abusing me, along with over 45 other glitchers were banned for "Macroing", but when you clicked evidence you were banned for "Jagex Moderator Comment", I appealed, I got no response. 5 days later I was unbanned, except strange thing is the offence wasn't accepted, nor denied. The entire offence on the page had a line through it and was gray. "Offence Quashed". I noticed a message in my inbox, it was from Mod William. It was a personal message, I have a pic saved but I can't find it. It was titled "Goodwill Credit" it basically was an apology and Jagex had given me 10 days of free membership because I was proved innocent. I was not innocent, I abused the hell out of the glitch that got many glitchers banned, but only a few were unbanned. But the shit was weird, 9/9/09... 6\6\06..

Also I highly advice everyone here not to use your real account information on any website breaking Jagex's policy. If you have noticed they are cutting down on us. IP-banning players abusing the Recover stolen account section, suing famous botting corporations, ect. And I wouldn't be suprised at all if what you posted is true.

True that. im not able to recover any account with this computer anymore lol. i tested it. tried recovering my account ,. got denied. used EXACTLY the same information with my laptop. was accepted an hour later. :\

I have gotten 26 vouches doing RWT on Runescape, and am an active member in a botting/cheating community.

I'm sick of this game and need a reason to quit.
