Getting into the game.

Yeah. Well. This is it. I want to play runescape again. I played off and on last summer. And I tried selling my account during Christmas. It didn't work. I'm stuck with a 134, and 61M. 61 Mill isn't much anymore, I'm assuming. So yeah. I've gotten on the past few days in free to play, and have seen how much santa hats, and rares were. I sold my Blue h'ween mask at 69M, quit when they went back down to around 40, and now they're like 100m. It's sad.

I have a few questions. Hitpoints. It's now known as constitution. I've realised they changed it. My max hit with a whip around last summer was 46-47. Now that it's changed, will that be 470? And also. What's the deal with the damage that's uneven? It says I can hit a 426 with my rune crossbow, void knight, and diamond bolts. Is that a 42? If it is, why is there the six on the end?

I also would like to know a good way to make money. Has the game's economy crashed? Is green dragon hunting still good? Anywho. I hope it hasn't changed much, as I want to play again.

 

426 is the same as the old hits, just multiplied by 10. So back in the day, it would have been 42.6 which would have been rounded to 43. It's just so the hits look more diverse I guess.
Yes green dragon hunting is still pretty good, although it's packed with people using AutoFighter Pro.

 

The *10 update allows you to hit now any random number, they did this to stop people being able to take *0* I think,

But at level 134 Green drags would be good for a few mil, but thats all I can think other than merching.

Joining a good corp/bandos/arma/sara team would be alot more fun and probably more profitable than dragons.

 

Green drags are good to get you on your feet, but at your level you can solo/team alot of the harder monsters that give good drops.

 

I used to godwars a lot. If it's still a good way to make cash, I'll probably do that.

I used to solo bandos. That's the only thing I trust myself with doing. Last summer I soloed a hilt.

 

If you can get into a good team it's faster money, soloing bandos is probably similar money to green drags but alot more random. Less boring for sure though.

 

Alot of higher level players make money by boss killing bandos,dag kings,copral beast i would say that was your best bet.

Green drags is very good money though it is packed i pefer blue drags at the gu tanoth dungeon

There are also alot of harder quest around maybe you could try them

 

I recently started back up too. I've been mainly questing, farming, and training ranged. I'm going to get 99 ranged the long way (Aviansies) and make about 100M total from it, then use that money to train summoning, and then finally go to GWD a lot this summer. Hoping to make a few hundred mill if I can find a decent team to go to Armadyl.

 

The only flaw I still see is the dungeoneering skill, and the constitution bull shit. The normal hit points system was a lot better.

 

Agreed. Hopefully they fix this in the near future, but I seriously doubt it.

Well. My brother recently went off to college and took our ps3. And I have nothing really to do. I'm tired of modern warfare 2, and everything. I wanted to play a game that takes skill.

 

Then you came to the wrong game, nothing really takes skill. It's all point click, click,click,click,click.

 

Click click click is what gets you ingame skills/cash. Which you can trade for irl cash.
If you're good at "Click click click" 'ing then you'll earn more irl.

Runescape isn't just for cheating though

It takes skill, if you're better at it, you'll probably have more fun.

 

Only pay attention to the first one or two numbers in a hit. It's multiplied by ten.

Example:
354= 35.4

 

The 426 is basically you hitting a 42 and getting .6 more xp then you would if you hit a 420.
