i was going to buy some 07 gp from Aither as his title on his 07 wts thread says he will beat every price so i got his price and went to searchy and got a price which he couldnt beat so he told me to go buy from searchy he never beat search so he owes me 1b 07

First of all, I state that I beat reputable websites (such as rsgm,piegp,partypete,injure etc) but I try my best to beat discord flippers aswell, no problem it’s part of the game. He says he found a cheaper seller (Searchy) and I was like ok let me go ask his rate just to confirm that it is true.




Then 15 minutes later he comes and says ”yeah he is selling .20$/m to me” which is obviously a troll. You realistically think that he would sell you his gold for .20$m when the market rate is fluctuating between .29-32?

Sure the title is clickbaity and it’s only in the thread that I state I beat website but that’s not false advertising is it now? The way it’s OBVIOUSLY intented to work is this;
you go on a website, check their rate, find me, ask me if I’ll beat them.

You are assuming that he will not sell to me for .20 when I have the screenshot to prove the conversation with him.
Instead you are telling me I am a troll for no valid reason when I have all the proof I need you are not willing to give what you advertise.

Yes as I offered to beat it because it’s part of the game no problem EVERYONE does it in discord. Still at the end of the day this offer only stands for reputable websites. Searchy is not a website. Find a website, check their rate, ask if I’ll beat it and if I can’t I WILL give you the 1B. If you keep on insisting that Searchy would’ve sold you the gold for .20 (9-11 cents under the market rate) and took a loss then I don’t know what to say. I sure hope that you bought from him after our conversation ended .

 

If you read the chat back you can see from the start I double checked if your thread title was correct.

I said I had found it cheaper you said you’d match then searchy offered me a better price when I said I was going to buy off you I then stated I’d buy from you if you’d match and you declined to price match and he also told you the price he sold to me at.

Just admit it you make false advertisement claim and click bate which is against forum rules.

Nonetheless, you have a clickbait title which leads to an unfair market advantage. Your title is "guaranteed cheapest gold or receive 1b gold" which is clearly incorrect since you're doing neither of those things.

It would be the same if I put in the title "Selling OSRSGP $0.10/M" and then type somewhere in the thread "minimum spend $100 Million USD in order to receive advertised price". I realise that you're a new entrant and are trying very hard to build a customer base, but there's a Sythe rule that prohibits clickbait titles if I'm not mistaken

If you insist I'll go ahead and buy some hosting for my website though to get it back up and running, so you'll have no choice but to honour your promises
