Scammers. =/

Hello. I think in Sythe scammers who are proven to be scammers stick after that way too long still in the site since Admins rarely look at the "Report A Scammer" or they just look at the first page. For me it's unacceptable, i tought you wanted to make Sythe safest place to everyone. Well here is the chance, you Admins or at least someone should start looking the "Report A Scammer" place at least once a day and read all the new posts and not only from the first page, if they reach up to 5th then even solve the 5th page ones. I know it will be thrown back to me. But as i see Rarely ppl get banned fast. I have an example. Since admins lack of responsability there a person got scammed 400$ since it took them over 5 days to ban a scammer who was proven scammer in 2 threaads in "Report A Scammer". And i think he got banned since i pmed 4 admins to get him banned. That is just not normal. You have to do something about and i mean now. It is not good if a proven scammer has after hes first scam still a week to scam more people. If you want this site to be safe for everyone, take this big step and help others. Thanks.

I have a really good idea, before you tell admins/mods what needs to be done you should learn decent grammar, they have to look through proof of each report to ban someone. So how about you not worry about what they are doing.

See i knew at least someone is stupid enough to post a reply that makes no sense at all. You made yourself look very bad posting it lol.
Anyways i know they need to look thrue but i see admins online all the times.
They can spend 5 mins on each thread and there may be like up to 10 scammers a day with a proof so 50 mins is not much to ask.
Try to ignore the idiotic guy with the first post.
If u post something more that wont make any sense i will report as a spam. And i worry becouse i care about others. Not great getting scammed with high amounts of money.

 

Moderators and Admins do have socials lifes. We do not get paid to do this, it's all voluntry, and banning scammers isn't number 1 on our daily schedules.

 

I think they are doing great, yeh sometimes they are not very active, but put yourselves in their lives.

 

There are always a million of these threads. -.- There's nothing to complain about; RaS is more organized than it has been in a long time.

It is every user's responsibility to check the RaS forum before trading with someone, and if they can't do that, it's their fault for getting scammed.

 

I see that but i i see many admins online daily, they could at least put 15 mins into looking there. And ban at least 3 scammers. Thing that i am asking is not much, not at all. And everyone would feel safer a little bit.

Your not right, They ban scammers all the time, just because they didn't check your report as fast others doesn't mean anything. They get about 20+ scammer reports a day. It takes awhile too look through all evidence.

Shame that your too thickheaded too see any of this.

 

It's going to take a lot longer than 5 minutes per report. Do you understand how hard it is to determine if it was a scam or not? And if it wasn't, do you realize how bad the Sythe administers are going to look?

I usually have the section under control, however, it being the end of the year I've been very busy so I wasn't as active as I usually am.

Also, it would help if everyone posted things in a nice manner (ie. the templates) instead of leaving huge walls of texts and a photobucket album of 15 pics that take forever to load.

 

I cannot believe how scared everyone here are to admit that i am telling the truth. I am not telling about my thread, i have alot of friends who have proved a scammer in there but it somehow always takes around 5 days. And that is very much no matter what u ppl who kiss admins asses think. It isnt in a bad matter. i am just suggesting it . and as u see ppl missunderastand me want to make me look bad. I am telling u now , if ur a "wannabe" admin/mod then post. THis is about making sythe better not u all being nice in front of mods eyes so stop posting random shit. I AM RIGHT, IT TAKES THEM TOO LONG TO RESOLVE THEM, ANYONE WHO DISAGREES IS AN IDIOT WHO KISSES ADMINS AND MODS ASS. Damn post if u really mean it.

 

Bans have to be given out, to pretend there's some consequence for scamming and to discourage better-known users from doing it, but bans don't really stop anyone. The faster a scammer is banned, the sooner they create a new account. However, the moment a report is posted, it is an available resource to everyone on the site: the unbanned scammer is paradoxically less of a threat, since what they are is known. (if people had enough common sense to look).

It's nice to see reports handled quickly - a pretty illusion that the user has been done away with - but sadly that's not really how it works.

Learn to fucking spell if you want someone to consider your post. And i doubt anyone is afraid. Why would they hurry as fast as they can to ban someone, when they just make a new account and come back?

If a guru is banned then he will make new acc and be leecher and leechers cant scam so easly.

The Admins do more important stuff. Keep the website up and running is more important, I think, but correct me if I'm wrong..

 

Remember that mods and admins doesn't like to read trough alot of text. We do our best, we do have social lifes too.

 

But there are so many of you and if at least few of you take like 15 mins each day to consentrate on that. You would make very good progress.
And once more 15mins is much, whether they have much things else to do, just 15 mins.

 

They do take time each day, Jimmy, Skele, Kadaj and a few others look through it everyday
